Will Selling Multiple Items Past Count of 10 Bite Me...?

I got into a bad quantity mood last night and sold all items in a count over/past 10. This doesn't appear to be any problem right now but I'm wondering if anyone will share with me when not having any more of an item will bite me?

I know there is a storage box in the Flotsam inn but I'm not using it. How bad is that?

All herbs are regrowing. No problem with selling them, you would only to have to wait a little.
But things as cloth, metal and timber will not 'regrow'...
Most shops replenish their stock after 24 h or going in and out of town (either can be the case, you have to test which), but buying all the things you need back after you sold them could go very hard on your money bag since everything is so expensive compared to the money you get selling it...

But still it wouldn't be impossible to craft items because everything can be purchased somewhere or crafted by yourself after purchasing or finding the right diagrams.

Nahhh you'll get through. There weren't storage in the first few patch and it still works fine. xD In fact, you only need some herbs, swords and armor to survive the game.

Nothing should happen, since you sold only those items that are abundant. You should always be able to get them back through some farming or merchants.

Some of the crafting items are definitely worth storing.

I don't like raiding crates to find cloth, twine, leather, timber, or iron ore, so I keep and store them when I find them.

Dual-purpose crafting and alchemy items are good to store; that way, you won't inadvertently use them in alchemy. Diamond dust, amethyst dust, elemental stones, endrega parts.

If you're not specifically saving up to craft a certain item then it should be fine to sell anything where you have more than ten of it. Once you get the crafting recipes for robust cloth and hardened leather, you might want to craft them instead of simply selling the excess cloth and leather. That way if you get a recipe for something you want which requires a lot of robust cloth or hardened leather you'll be ready for it :p

Like Guynwah said, store crafting items. They're heavy and timber got sparse later on in my Iorveth run. I think the game encourages a disciplined approach to toting loot though. You shouldn't need more than ten of any alchemical potion at one time.

Selling certain animal parts used in crafting can definitely come back to bite you though, so be careful with these. They may not appear later in the game.

Do NOT sell endrega saliva. If you already have, go out and kill some more.

The only thing I never sold were the endrega saliva, nekker hearts, elemental stones, and essence of water. You craft ysgith and fire runes with those. Most other crafting materials can be bought in stores.
