Will the temerian's accept foreign rulers?

If I chose the ending in which temeria is spilt in 2, will the temerian's willfully obey the foreign rulers? I don't see them rebelling against Radovid since he is most of the time a good ruler. Henselt on the other hand I'm not sure about. They have no reason to rebel and disobey the rulers, but it is the witcher and anything can happen. What are y'alls thoughts on this?

They wouldn't accept Henselt or Radovid that easily. Temerians and Redanians have long had quarrels over trading issues. And Henselt annexing half the country won't earn him any followers. But it doesn't really matter too much since Temeria is invaded by Nilfgaard in the end of TW2, and it is most probable that it will be under Nilfgaardian control in TW3.

with your logic that seems to me that giving anais to natalis would be a waste then? I'm not insulting what you said, but I'm asumming you get what I'm trying to ask lol

At the time you make the decision, you can't read the future, so you should simply decide what you think is best.
Henselt and Radovid probably wouldn't back off their desires for Temeria just because they both failed to get it "legally" at Loc Muinne. Radovid wouldn't necessarily get it without opposition just because he has control over Anais. Even without the Nilfgaard impact, none of the solutions would guarantee a peaceful solution for Temeria.
But as you say, anything can happen.

I would think they'd riot moreso with a split in their country. At least with Radovid they would still be whole and more ,even if it means being the lesser partner in a personal union. And it'd probably end up like the Austro-Hungarian compromise of 1867. It does also give Annais a more proper legitimacy to the throne as well.

True. I gave up on Temeria's independence because of my love for iorveth's side of the story. May I ask what you think of philippa controlling saskia and the what the future may hold for them and the pointer valley? i would free saskia, but I feel the mage's are to useful of a tool to waste like that. I just hope philippa stays level headed even to not go straight for revenge on radovid and deal with the empire, but he did mess her up pretty bad to say the least.

John Natalis as regent for Anais commands much good will, not just an army, in Temeria. I don't think the fractious nobles will unite behind anyone else. For their heroes, they may put their differences aside long enough to field an army.

If Temeria becomes a protectorate of Redania, is annexed by either or both its neighbors, or fails to unite against them, the nobles will be hard pressed by a greater power; as the ending cutscene has it, they will find out that Radovid's nickname "the Stern" is not idle talk.

But I think StaGiors is right: the matter of the status of Temeria will be overtaken by the more pressing demand of the Nilfgaardian invasion.
