No, that just comes from a common misinterpretation of what Letho said. "Get her gander up" is an English phrase of well-known and definite meaning. It means Letho made her angry; it does not mean he aroused her sexually. If you have ever had dealings with geese, you will understand why the phrase means what it does.

As sex is part of TW's lore and personality of Geralt, it has to be, sure. I love how CDProject treat us like adults and not like kids, and it has to continue like now. Having sex with the "sucubo" (don't know how is in english), for example, makes the game amazing and different. And I have to say that I don't like "free sex scenes" in games or films only for having popularity, but in The Witcher for me sex is a very important part of the lore and the personality of Geralt
I remember the devs having said that Geralt will be taking it a bit easier on that front. Hell, it would weaken the possible romances with Yennefer and Triss if you could shag a lot of other people too, imo.
In the Witcher 2 trailers, they had a fully-clothed Triss diving into the Elven bath. If you played the game, you know that she was fully nude. CDPR easily just does a model-swap for the promotional material.

TW2 was edited by our Australian department that deals with such things. I was furious about that. Not so much because the sex scene was edited out, but because it was related to a quest with the female npc. The women Geralt saved from the fire, afterwards she headed to the Dwarf town. She had the key to the tunnel which Geralt had to get (via having sex with her) as a faster route through. The entire quest was removed/locked because of the sex scene.

Yeah, that's Australian censorship. Different countries censor different things. Australia comes down hard on "sex as a reward" and realistic drugs. It will be interesting to see how the game fares now that they have the R18+ rating and don't have to "refuse classification".

Sorry, that's simply not the case. Not only do we see sex scenes in the trailer itself, CDPR has never cared what's popular or mainstream - the Witcher is the Witcher is the Witcher. Furthermore, lots of AAA games still have sex scenes - Mass Effect has lite versions, sure, but look at the God of War franchise, or its ripoff, Dante's Inferno. I think there's some nudity in Max Payne 3, and there certainly is in GTA V, which is a colossal game whose popularity CDPR is nowhere close to (simply because Rockstar is a brand that's been around longer and has more money to work with).
CDPRED has given every indication that they aren't in this for the money (the DRM-free software, the equality of content across platforms, the hold-off on getting a publisher so that no one will tell them how to make their game "better"), but for the grand ideal of genuine storytelling. Why be idealistic with everything else about the series but then shy away from sex? Makes no sense.
Plus, they're in Poland. Backward Western prude ideas aren't nearly as mainstream in Europe as it is in good ol' North America. I highly doubt they'd ever consider conforming to shitty social standards so that they can squeeze out a few more dollars from customers. Then they'd actually, you know, be a regular corrupt corporation.
