I have a feeling this is about to get nasty, so let me steer this in a more lighthearted direction and still stay on the topic of Ciri - I think it would be far more amusing/interesting if she has a love interest in the game and Geralt ends up in the role of the disapproving dad that intimidates his daughter's boyfriend. That would be a cool new wrinkle to the character, and it would probably be hilarious, knowing how well CDPR's writers do dialogue.

If there was an option, you'd have to pick it to see if it was real. If it was real, then we'd have to create a few dozen 100 page threads about the issue and berate CDPR.

Are you kidding ? Do you realize the NA probably has one of the biggest if not the biggest porn industries in the world ? Do you realize that tons of American movies /music/games continually use sex to sell their product ?Do you realize that sex is more often than not used and abused to sell things ?Including graphic sex isn't some noble act.Its actually handling the subject in a genuine, meaningful way that matters.

Yes, we do have the biggest porn industry. But is it socially acceptable to talk about porn, sex, maturation, or nudity in virtually any context? No. Hell, FB bans photos of women breastfeeding (but allows violence) because naked breasts are apparently too psychologically damaging. I understand that everything shouldn't be about sex all the time and that it isn't always appropriate to have a sexual discussion, but taking sex out of a game that has an established lore that supports prostitution and free sex is (as mentioned in the sexism thread) imposing modern reservations or beliefs on a setting that holds different views. It's Westernization to a painful degree.

However, you can't tell me that porn accurately portrays sex in a genuine, meaningful way that matters (as you said); it's often quite depraved and doesn't represent either sex in a flattering light.

And I apologize if you hold different views on sexuality, but my comments are coming from having constantly being told in my life that as a woman I shouldn't have or want sexual desires, so I have a decent idea of what's wrong with society's views.

It's optional. Why they have to please naysayers because they don't want it? If the reasoning is because they don't want their kids to play this game, then they should not play it. Period. They are not allow to play it because they don't meet the age requirement. Is is plausible that CDPR cancel Witcher 3 simply because i don't like Witcher? To hell with it.
