I don't think I will. I'm almost certain in fact.

I still haven't finished the game because I found out there was no good endings to chose from.

So, unless the DLC's provide happy endings I'm not interested.

This!

Also, maybe... just maybe(!) many new people will learn that "Do not pre-order" is actually a valid thing to understand and go by. I've learned my lesson. I hope others have/will too.

I'm of the opinion that the first "DLC" should be a patch that opens the game up substantially for the Modding Community, and they release Strong Modding Resources and Toolkit.

CDPR can do a fantastic service to the community by doing that because, the Modding Community is the Jesus you didn't know you needed.
The Modding Community, with strong, open, flexible modding support can you you ALL the things.

Have a Console? Don't worry, there's already precedent with some others games allowing Modding for Consoles. It CAN be done.

Do you want the train to work like it did in the trailers with passengers and everything?
Modders can do it.
Do you want Mantis Blade wall climbing that was taken out of game?
Modders can do it.
Do you want 24,000 different character apprearance options, clothing, weapons, cyberware, unique quickhacks, and things you never even knew you needed until they actually got created by some weirdo modder?
Modders can do it.

Modders, if given access, if the severely restricted access right now is opened up, and we get the resources and toolkits, Modders will do ALL the things that Modders do, and there will be so many options, variants, choices, content, and things that you get much more and better than some standard DLC.

We can get standard story and feature DLCs later ... aint nothing stopping any of that ... but,if Modding were opened up, You'd get so very much more sooner.

There's already several "better driving" mods.
There's already several clothing replacer and appearance mods. You can get black Arasaka CyberNinja Arms!
The Modding Community, even with severely restricted access to what can be done is already giving us a wealth of things.
Someone's even made a 3rd Person Perspective Mod ... but, it's pretty ridiculous since we don't have access to what can actually make it presentable.

Agitate to open up Modding! It'll give you all the things. :)

Like many here. I enjoyed the game for what it was and lamented what it could have been.

Therefore, purchasing DLC would be based on 1) reviews 2) content (i.e., something meaty that feels like a main quest and has the crew involved (Judy, Panam, River, etc).

If yes to the above two, then see what the forums are saying about it.

If all is well, then yes, I'll buy.

Honestly, it feels like I have to do serious due diligence with all major studios going forward.

Those people that can wait a year before picking up a title have the right idea, it's just hard to wait that long for certain games!

I have been a supporter of CDPR since the original Witcher, and have loved all of their work so far. Cyberpunk 2077 is the 80s version of the future that i have always wanted to experience. They have put so many nods to other works into this game, and so many little details that people completely overlook. I would love to see many more Cyberpunk games to come, and im playing it on a base ps4 1st gen.

On launch? Haha, heck no!

It honestly depends on CDPR. If they only fix the most apparent bugs, push out some lazy DLC with some sidequests and then abandon CP2077 to work on multiplayer... well, let's just say I'd be severely disappointed. It's been over 3 years and I'm still sore about the whole Mass Effect Andromeda fiasco and how they scraped all DLC to work on Anthem. I was not sad to see Anthem fail. I hope CDPR doesn't go down the same road.

If they go above and beyond to fix CP and acknowledge that bugs are NOT the only problem here... then yes, I'd absolutely purchase from them again. However, I'd want a more satisfying conclusion to V and Johnny's story and the option to continue playing after finishing the main quest. I'm not particularly interested in some mid-game DLC that has no impact on the story whatsoever.

Let's see what the future brings.

with bugs? Have you played Witcher 1 when it was released??? What you saw with Cyberpunk 2077, is not even close to how bad Witcher 1 was on release....... it was completely unplayable, you could not finish the game even.... Yet they came around, and released Enhanced Edition which fixed all problems, and introduced more stuff on top... and all for free.... so yeah... i have plenty of past experience with CDPR... thats why i would still preorder games from them... because i believe them they will fix them over time no matter what.. and their games are worth playing.

My point is, I frankly don't care if this has happened before, all the more reason why this should not have happened again. Its called learning from past mistakes.

I rarely pre-order however, I pre-ordered cyberpunk because CDPR had promised the game would come when ready. Also from what was promised, I trusted it would be the immersive experience CDPR promised to deliver.

That trust has now been broken and I will likely not pre-order anyone's games, including CDPR again.

Am I saying I dont trust CDPR will fix Cyberpunk? No, i'm sure the patches and content will come. What I am saying is if we are sitting here in 2021 saying this has happened all before, prior CDPR releases were actually worse than this. Then that tells me there is a serious problem with CDPR's ability to set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time Bound) targets.

I answered yes, because I don't want to rule it out, but I really can't say before knowing what the DLCs will be about.
If it's something that doesn't interest me, then no.

No I'm not.

This game is plagued by heavy problems, I ever doubt they will be solved in the near future, so DLC's using the same broken Red Engine ? Nah thanks.

But I can buy a complete different game from CDPR, they surely can deliver great games

id rather wait for them to fix the game and add all the missing and cut features they cannibalized to save development time and rush the game out before i waste my money any more then i need

YES
I do not buy never anything in pre-purchase
I get this game with all the bad reviews. I knew what I was taking
It has flaws but I see more positives than negatives. I think it can improve

Regarding the extensions if they are as qualitative as those of TW3 for the same price, why not.

Yes, because the game hooked me real good. Will that be a preorder, or a day one purchase, or sometime later? That totally depends on whether or not they have a physical release. I only preorder physical editions.
