Win NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU with Cyberpunk 2077 backplate!

So i guess thats the point? They have always hidden messages since they started with trailers/previews that people hade too solve. Its a riddle.

Maybe I'm wrong, but for me the "clue" is :
A ‘runner found a weird code while diving in the Net. They say if you complete the http://cp2077.ly link with it, you’ll find a message from a fixer about some preem hardware.
And not the screenshot itself... (which is probably here just as illustration^^). It would be like proposing a puzzle by giving the solution^^
So maybe better to search somewhere else :)

from what i gathered from reading the tweets and checking the place:
  1. the legal document (the PDF) clearly states that you need to tweet them with a photo mode screenshot
  2. its unclear whether the cp2077.ly link meant the link shortener to nvidiaXcyberpunk page and thus the legal PDF, or the clue photo in the tweet is just a clue to get the correct cp2077.ly link that will tell you to take a photo mode screenshot of something/somewhere. <--- AKA the real instruction
  3. the clue photo tweet an (or a reflection of) RTX 4090 above netrunner's feet. RT and non RT reflection could look very different, maybe need to switch RT reflection on/off
  4. the netrunner in the clue photo tweet is actually glitched in the game. he (SLICE543) is stuck inside a server rack and a chair. his fingers pops out a bit off the rack, and his feets stuck out of the chair's backrest.
point number 4 would make point number 3 even harder to find. what if the RTX 4090 is stuck inside a wall, a floor, an NPC?

So, I'm fairly sure that point 2 is the part after the "or" but there's no confirmation. I'm basing that off the tweet's wording (which is terrible.

Point 3, my game is fully maxed out with RT on and DLSS on Auto. RTX on or off, there's no 4090 reflection. Either way, that'd really limit who could take part in the contest if the 4090 image was limited to a reflection only with RTX on.

Alright this is what I gathered from all the resources.

There are three opportunities to enter to win, the first one or challenge began on 26.09.2022 and ends
on 02.10.2022 23:59 CEST; with this information we can assume all the tools and resources to participate
in the Contest have been provided.

So how do we enter and participate?
The rules state we enter by replying to cdprojektred's tweet with a screenshot taken in Cyberpunk
2077 photo mode saved in a .png or .jpg format (not modified, enhanced or otherwise changed in any graphics
software apart from flipping or cropping) accompanied by a answer to the task posted on at

SO WHAT IS THE TASK? Well... let's dissect the tweet giving us said task...
A ‘runner found a weird code while diving in the Net. They say if you complete the
http://cp2077.ly link with it, you’ll find a message from a fixer about some preem hardware.

From this "clue" we know the location for at least the next clue is in or around Arasaka tower where the
netrunner is located especially considering it's mentioned he "found" a weird code" which provides us
access to a hidden webpage when appended to the link above. I assume by visiting this page we will be
provided with another hint to where
and what the next task is. Now if you click the deets link, on there it states
"We’ve heard some rumors that 3 pieces of this preem hardware found their way into Night City.
Equipped with custom Cyberpunk 2077 backplates and support brackets from V1Tech, there are literally
only 3 in existence. Help us find them and one can be yours!
It’s not gonna be easy though, corps are guarding them as if their lives depended on it (actually,
that’s most likely the case). We managed to find some data on the Net but gotta keep it on the down low.
We left you a clue on the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page. Head over there, solve it and complete the task
for a chance to get your hands on a GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition graphics card with Cyberpunk 2077
backplate — and make sure to have your Kiroshi set to Photo Mode, ready to use. You know, just in case."

From this I gather they inserted these cards into the game and are hidden, it's our objective to find them.
I assume guards are defending the location.

Do I need to update my CP? Because I have really old version installed that I played. I didn't bother to update it for a very long time.

Agreed with all of this. And they showed a 4090 in that tweet's image, but it's not there in game. I scoured all of Arasaka tower and didn't find a single one.

If you're under version 1.6, yes

I have to check at home but I think im on 1.1 or 1.2. :( I heard that game is ruined by updates and works best in those older versions.

I'm pretty sure you need to find the missing part of the URL (cp2077.ly/____) which brings you to a site to upload your screenshot

or something... Not sure what the screenshot biz is all about

I think maybe they're just hinting at a netrunner in general and used the twitter image they did as a reference. I seen the CDProjektRed Community manager respond to a comment on the twitter clue saying something along the lines that they're searching a runner to deliver their clue

They made the twitter picture more high res. I'm not sure if that was for a purpose as a hint or to throw us off. Anyways, I just started playing the game so I don't have the game sense to know, but the new picture on twitter makes the middle monitor more clear. You can clearly read Quarantine Safebox, GRBEN (the B could be a 3, 8, B).

Not sure if there is a character in game that was quarantined in a box or if someone had the nickname (Gr3en, Grben, Gr8en).

Or maybe i am just overthinking it. But from the sounds of it, there seems to be either a character in game that tells you information or the link that you finish tells you something.

It is definitely getting the different path of that link. The link after DEETS: are literally just the details of the challenge. That has nothing to do with the clue

So I am pretty sure, that the hint is the "GR8EN" at the arm monitor. But I have tried all the combinations to acces the other link, but no luck.

I remember a gig for wakako "Follow the lights" where we have to save a netrunner locked in a net, on the first screen everything is faded but on the second we see two unfaded things which is "GR8BN" and "50000 E$", I went to the same location and this is what I found its the same pretty much the same with the signatures etc, dont know if I'm going the right way or just wasting time

It seems to me that this is another described photo-competition where the taste of the evaluators will win. Only this time the rules are described even worse than last time.

For your information, the RED guys apparently uploaded graphics in higher resolution on twitter post, now based on what you already found it will be a breeze;).

Oh god I was on the exact same path. I tried to change the spectrum of colors in photoshop, I tried to type green rgb code in the link. In addition, I found the same screenshot on the main page of cyberpunk, but there it is red. I tried to overlay 2 images on top of each other, but nothing worked. I'm wondering what else you came up with. The only mention of green in the game I found in this note https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/The_Green_Death

Am on my Gtx 970 in Kenya 😯❤️ dreaming of this card that I may never have 🤕. I wish to play cyber punk on day.

It's pretty simple now that I've got it
