Wishlist for 2.3 and beyond

Honestly, all I want is for them to remove, reduce, or add an option to tweak the Attribute Check Scaling. Sure, I would love a number of other things (new quests and other such content, making Roach Race and [especially] Trauma Drama somewhat easier, etc.), but this is the one I desperately hope for the most.

Visible cyberware or at least cyber lines on the body. Generally, cyberware aesthetic has been lacking since the game's release. V can say "Take a good look at me.. a real good one. See my implants?" No.

I was thinking it would be kind of neat if you could sit at the food booths and eat instead of just getting a standard vendor menu to buy/sell food. All of the food items are just kind of annoying to use, go to inventory, go to backpack, go to consumables, sift through a hundred items for something that seems appropriate... I never even bother most of the time.

Honestly, the main thing I miss is more ways to customise V. I find it odd that I had to use mods for things that I would have thought would be part of the default game:

Arasaka Cyberarms: Making our arms look fully cybernetic.
UV model: Just wanted more muscle. Felt odd playing a strength build and barely having any muscle on V (male or female).

Wish customisations like these become default on Cyberpunk "Orion". Need way more Cyberwear, as well as cyber limbs.

On the subject of 3rd person, I take it it's likely difficult to implement properly. That being said, would be nice if we had more opportunities to see our V besides when riding a bike. Maybe when chatting with key characters, in story points where there is no action, camera could zoom out and show V? Obviously that means a lot more lip sync work on parts of the devs but hey, we spend all this time making V look exactly how we want him/her but then can barely get to see!

Witcher 3 let gamers lock the UI to keyboard or gamepad instead of auto switching by editing the config and setting as LockControlScheme=2.

With Steam Input allowing gamepad users to bind mouse to gyro, or analog keyboard usersit would be nice to have better mixed input spport for Cyberpunk 2077 that the previous CDPR game had.

Sigh..

To be fair, NOT doing this can also be immersive in its own way.

Like, the general idea is that this is a dystopian future where individual lives are meaningless, with violence and death being commonplace.

Meaning having large scale firefights with high death tolls not make it to the media reports because such a thing happens so frequently it's no longer a noteworthy event, adds to that dystopian theme.

That said, some things do make it to the media. I remember seeing reports about the AV going down after doing Panam's mission on the TV (As well as radio reports about the EMP used during the mission) and vaguely recall some other missions triggering reports though I don't spend a lot of time around TV's - Only being near them when using elevators...
Yes, it's not about information every time (every single one). But it's interesting that after V's action, any significant action for public order is recorded. What would that look like? If there was a shootout between V and the police, and now he's standing by the TV or in his apartment, some AI algorithm would prepare an ad-hoc message like, "There was a shootout with police officers in district X. The perpetrators could not be identified, etc...." If V doesn't turn on the TV in his apartment or isn't standing by it, there's no action. This means that V's last significant action for public order is somehow crafted into a general news story. It's so general that you can create scripts (AI?) for key actions, e.g., a shooting, a damaged car, a burglary, etc., and they will always fit the context, dramatically increasing immersion. As long as the news "creation" mechanism is efficient, we'll always notice V's impact on the local environment of Night City.

Oh man, you just wrote my subject of frustration. Stealth melee, takedowns. It's just imposible to make a good Oda build. It would be cool if there was a way to make a true ninja build with Katana and knife or stealth gun. CDPR could add an implant (or perk) that improves optical camo the way that stealth melee combat becomes more smooth. At least on/off option as for Sandevistan and improved active time. I would go for it even if it would use an Operation system slot.

Additionally ninja has to be able to use grenades. At least some like flash or chemical (what ever improves control).

Another issue is dead bodies physics and geometry which often is really weird. Especially when using explosives or a heroic landing. I tested a mod that improves this. Not solving completely but makes it much better.

P.S. I am over 400 hours now

I'd also improve the game's minimap to make the roads wider. I don't know if I'm the only one who takes the wrong turn on the highway because I can't see where to go when there's a detour. And sometimes I go to the yellow dot the minimap shows me, and it's not there, since my destination is on a lower road, for example.

Another thing I'd like is for consoles to have a button to quickly turn the "huh" on and off. It's very tedious having to pause the game. Go to settings, turn everything off, and turn it back on one by one.

Y añadir más actividades y minijuegos. Un casino. Y tener citas fuera del apartamento con nuestra pareja.

A third-person option in free mode, when we are not on any mission, it would be great to finally be able to see our v and take different video clips and photos from a different perspective.

And please, an option to not automatically select the next mission. It's annoying.

My Wishlist:

Make the game work, make it so that I don't randomly have to load an old save and lose progress because - Whatever reason, I just can't equip weapons or use grenades or just use a ladder and now I'm stuck because well shit I guess he just don't feel like using a ladder right now and can't use any equipment.

That'd be a good place to start I think, make the game work plz.

Sorry for my English in advance, but everything you wrote about wishes is so boring... well, except for the third-person camera=)

1. I'd like to open real stores in Night City, with the ability to buy, for example, my favorite NB sneakers (skins) with crypto for my in-game character. I'd like to give designers the opportunity not only to have a good time but also to earn money in the game by selling their skins for weapons, cars, and... there are plenty of places to add all of this. I think this would liven up the game a bit and add uniqueness to the characters.

2. Let's say we could create a cafe or some kind of meeting place (multiplayer) with live chats limited to a certain number of participants. And of course, the ability to host parties with all the attendance that entails. But put all this on the users. This will attract even more streamers. I already hinted at monetizing these events in p.1.

It's unlikely that all of this will ever be in the game, but I think if the developers look towards creating a world with a large number of different interactions, this will be a high-quality reflection of the game and the industry as a whole.

What I would want is for the romances to actually be improved, you see some of the things modders have done and you're so unbelievably disappointed with CDPR as truly you realize how the bare minimum has been done. Even the apartment update where CDPR allows for characters to visit your apartment is a baby version compared to the mod where it allows the characters to move in with you
