Witcher 1 import in non-english

Hello,
so I'm playing withcher 1 right now and it's written here http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Saved_game_import that in order to import my W1 save i need to have it in English pack which I dont play with (I play in czech). Does someone know something about this ? Is it true and what happens when I dont do that ?

Don`t know anything about the wiki aspect . But you can try anyway . just drop your final Witcher 1 save (Ice Plains or later) in your Documents>witcher 2>gamesaves folder and start Witcher 2 and choose new game . . If it detects your witcher 1 save it will show it .
