Witcher 2 Fighting
Hi Guys,
I'm not sure if that is the right place for this thread but the other one (Tech Support) seemed even less likely.
For the release of Witcher 3 next year i have started replaying the first game and aquired the second game (will start the second game in a week I think).
Now I have read some thinks about the second game already and what really got my attention is that combat in witcher 2 gets criticized often not as hard but extremly bad in sight of controll, the animations (and Animation locks), the recognition of the game for dodging and parrying .... and so on.
My question is now, how bad the combat in witcher 2 actually is and if it decreases the gaming experience greatly and if I should use the combat rebalance mod from Flash (which is highly recommended on most sites).
Also another questions for me is the difficulty, as W3 is just around the corner i will probably only play trough W2 once (for now) in W1 enemys were not a problem for me and only on the highest difficulty did I need to read up on the monsters weakness and strategies and prepare specific potions for the figth on lower dificulties i could more or less hack through everything and only used two kinds of potions (swallow and cat don't know if they are named like this in english but the first is for live regeneration and the second lets you see in the dark). My question would be at which difficulty in witcher 2 do I have the need to really look up the monsters and prepare for the battle because i really liked to have to think about different stragegies for once.
TL. Dr.: How exactly works the combat in Witcher 2?(and what do you think about it)
Is there a need to download the "Full combat Rebalance" mod to enjoy the game?
What difficulty level should I choose if I want a chalenge in each battle and have to think about different strategies? (do I have to go to the hardest difficultie for that or is the standart difficulti of the game good enough alredy)
Thanks for your help
PS: I'm not a native speaker so I beg your pardon for my bad english and in case you find something that is wrong fell free to correct me (no seriously it helps learning^^)
