Witcher 2 Review copy is not Enhanced Edition

So the review copy that 1000 people gotten isn't quite the Enhanced Edition, all it comes with is just the Disks,

BOX: Exclusive box with all the following contents.
GAME DVDs: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings game on 2 DVDs.
WORLD MAP: A map of the game's world.
ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK CD: Audio-CD with in-game music.
WORLD MAP: A map of the game's world.
QUEST HANDBOOK: The Witcher 2 quest handbook for both novice and experienced role-playing fans.
GAME MANUAL: A rulebook and interface explanation to help you get started

It is just the disks, thought I tell everybody this that is getting the review copy.

Yeah... Really odd that the little letter said it contained all of that, but came with nothing. Not complaining, but just odd.

The name "Enhanced Edition" relates to the game's content, which have been enhanced indeed and surely is on your disks.

What you list comes with a "standard", retail version. But you wanted the early review copy, so you kinda got what you asked for. Early review copies are just disks with the game.

At least now you can feel the splendor of being a game's journalist :)

It seems all the free copies were just the latest version of the game and not the boxed extras. Still not a bad deal since it's free.

You want to review Enhanced Edition and you don't know what it is?

Okay so I am currently stuck in the middle here, I was selected for the review copy but I found out that it does not come with anything only the game disks. So what I am thinking off doing is selling the review copy and than buying the Dark Edition. If I do buy the dark edition I will still be reviewing the game, would you guy's do this or just stick getting the game for free... problem I have is dark edition looks awesome.

Last I heard the Dark Edition is already sold out. I don't trust eBay sellers to buy it from them second-hand.

It is in stock on GAME.co.uk site here in the UK, but I just don't know if I should do what I said above!

Maybe pre-order a retail copy it still comes with some nice stuff. I got one for the original release it came with the square coin and a map and some other neat stuff its worth it.

It still is the Enhanced Edition regardless of whatever else normally comes in the retail packaging. This isn't a FREE copy of the game guys, this is a review copy with stipulations beyond the normal purchase licenses.

Enhanced Edition meaning its already updated to EE, having all the new content etc.. You seem to think that the Enhanced Edition is just a term for somekinda retail release that has extra things that come with it, that would be wrong. Enhanced Edition just means its the latest version/patch of the game, with all new contents etc, for Xbox360 its the ONLY version you can get, no Vanilla, for PC, its a free update/patch to upgrade the Vanilla to the Enhanced Edition.

But seriously what is up with all this jelousy, there's so many topics being negative towards people who have gotten review copies. When i read this topic all i see is "HAHAHA YOU ONLY GET THE DISK, HOW FUN!".

I wouldn't trust GAME right now, they're in serious financial trouble.

Dark Edition is sold out. And I'm not sure if it is legal to sell the review copy.

Yes I understand that, but let's say they wasn't and you was in my position. Would you do what I said above order dark edition and sell review copy?

I would review that first, since you subscribed for it.

If it doesn't violate legal agreements, why not.

No because what I do is sell review copy, but review dark edition same game. Would you buy dark edition based on my problem?
