Witcher 2 Simulate save anais

The was 2 options as to whom to give her to. I was just wondering which side this option represents or if it was intentionally left vague so it could be either?

I'm not entirely sure if who you gave her to matters, John Natalis goes M.I.A and Roche says that he "dropped everything and went to war" meanwhile the choice you made to let Roche kill or spare Henselt gets tossed into the air when Redania invades Kaedwen either way. Nobody talks about the royal bastards EVER so it can be assumed that Radovid or Natalis locked her up somewhere or she got assassinated by Nilfgaard.

It doesn't matter. At the end, any option has no consequences in the Witcher 3. It's like Anais never existed
