Well, no idea if something was missing or what but Galaxy decided to download another 750MBs when I ran that to verify and update. Clicked play, and instead of actually launching I get a windows error message that Witcher 3 crashed haha. Off with a bang I say. Whatever, I'll sort it out.
OMG! I started the game and adjusted the settings. Then I wanted to go back to the desktop to activate the MSI gaming app but couldn't switch back to the game. Then I closed it with the task manager and thought I could install the DLCs. But it seems that exe does some weird things as it wants to install the game. And now Galaxy says the game is corrupted and I need to download the 24GB AGAIn with my 6Mb connection

Have to say - Tried both, M+KB is much better for me, combat not so much but camera is so much harder to control on gamepad
Mmmm... Launched for me 1 hour earlier (than shown on GoG). Been playing for 3 hours now. Celebrating. Savouring every second, every bit...
The game looks amazing! Plays like a charm on my GTX 970 (slightly overclocked) on ULTRA.
It is 4 in the morning. Have to go to sleep - work tomorrow (today). Good thing is, as graphic designer I can work from home.
On the sidenote - have you maybe noticed, that antialising doesn't work so good while enabled, or is it just me? Still some pixelcrawling noticable.

It launched one hour early for me too. I restarted my computer, got a patch on GOG, and then it was good to play!
@Jeeers The default AA isn't very good. And RED Engine 3 isn't compatible with MSAA or TXAA. Looks like the only good AA option is uber-sampling. But if you want low-cost option you can force FXAA through the Nvidia Control Panel.

Quiet decent so far and more responsive compared to TW2. There are couple of keys that I prefer to remap but they are far from disappointing, good work CDPR.

You can DSR to higher resolution if you want. Cheaper than Ubersampling with great results, I am running it at 1440p DSR.
