Can't imagine anything other than the CGI video. But it's something, bring it on.

Em... TW2 expansion while in the middle of development of TW3? No, I think not.

Tis possibly a trailer, gameplay footage, something among these lines. My first thought went towards a small demo, but that's wishful thinking, and very unlikely, if not just impossible.

We will see in 28 h.

I hope it's a gameplay trailer. I've had enough of CGI and I want to see the damn game in motion. After all, in video it doesn't matter if it's 30 FPS.

How can you have enough of CGI when we don't have it and when the only thing we saw is the game in motion ? (maybe I can't understand humor, sorry if that's the case^^)

I meant in general. Not specifically about The Witcher 3. I would much rather see a modest gameplay scene than fantastic CGI.

You know what else would be cool? A playable demo. But maybe it's too soon for that.

And you know what would be cooler? An official announcement that they are using standard technologies for TW3 and so it will be available for all relevant PC platforms down the road, namely Linux.

But a gameplay trailer is probably more down to Earth :p/>

I'm a man of my word.
Should any gameplay footage surface tomorrow,
I'll douse my shorts in mayo and eat them for breakfast.

Yup and there is proof enough once you have a look at: https://mobile.twitter.com/Aga_Szostak/status/367192641932644352?p=v
so yeah, CGI being the big announcement almost 100% sure.

maybe a release date since that would be big. although it would kinda ironic to do a countdown to tell us how long we have until we get the witcher 3 which some will countdown as well. a countdown to start a countdown

honestly I'd rather see a development diary with details on monsters, skills, Witcher sense and so on than a flashy CGI that, as cool as it might be, tells us nothing about the game itself. At least not more than plain text could, but it lends itself to showcasing images without actual content or context.

That said I would still like the CGI, but I would rather have some substance.

Now that would be awesome: a dev diary telling us more about their vision of the world, the people you meet, mentioning Ciri for some of the die hard fans here (you know who you are). In constrast a CGI is a fairly pointless bit of pictures telling little to nothing about the game itself and what to expect of it.

I bet it will be CG trailer. And if that is the case I'm still really happy. In my opinion some of you guys just expecting too much. Sorry, its just my opinion. Releasing CG trailer is great way to bring more attention to the title. Just check how many hits Cyberpunk CG trailer got o YT. Right now it has 6 050 394+ hits.

Am I really the only one here thinking that a CGI trailer is (not forgetting it is also a marketing move, let's not be naive here, but hey, how is CDPR gaining money a bad thing ? :p ) a very good way of setting the mood for a game with an important story/atmosphere aspect as it is the case for the TW series ? Especially giving the fact that they want TW3 to be as accessible as possible for newcomers to the series ?
Anyways, CGI trailers are far from being a waste or something useless. How would CDPR's game gaining interest, hype and money be a bad thing ?^^
I frankly think of myself as a very lucky person if CDPR (or any other developer in an other context) is giving me something I did not ask for to please me, I won't be disappointed, whatever they give us. :)

Personally, I'm really looking forward to the CGI trailer. I don't even care that I already know the punch line, it's gonna be great. I just love every single Witcher CGI. Sets the mood perfectly and everything...

Also,

I mean... it's gonna be good.
