sadly indeed, but dreams came at no cost don´t you think?ColIsengrim said:Em... TW2 expansion while in the middle of development of TW3? No, I think not.
Tis possibly a trailer, gameplay footage, something among these lines. My first thought went towards a small demo, but that's wishful thinking, and very unlikely, if not just impossible.
We will see in 28 h.
How can you have enough of CGI when we don't have it and when the only thing we saw is the game in motion ? (maybe I can't understand humor, sorry if that's the case^^)Volsung said:I hope it's a gameplay trailer. I've had enough of CGI and I want to see the damn game in motion. After all, in video it doesn't matter if it's 30 FPS.
I meant in general. Not specifically about The Witcher 3. I would much rather see a modest gameplay scene than fantastic CGI.ViZ7 said:How can you have enough of CGI when we don't have it and when the only thing we saw is the game in motion ? You know what else would be cool? A playable demo. But maybe it's too soon for that.
And you know what would be cooler? An official announcement that they are using standard technologies for TW3 and so it will be available for all relevant PC platforms down the road, namely Linux.
But a gameplay trailer is probably more down to Earth/>

Should any gameplay footage surface tomorrow,
I'll douse my shorts in mayo and eat them for breakfast.
Same here mate. I will watch this trailer probably 100 times in a row contemplating every second of it.ViZ7 said:Am I really the only one here thinking that a CGI trailer is (not forgetting it is also a marketing move, let's not be naive here, but hey, how is CDPR gaining money a bad thing ?/> ) a very good way of setting the mood for a game with an important story/atmosphere aspect as it is the case for the TW series ? Especially giving the fact that they want TW3 to be as accessible as possible for newcomers to the series ?
Anyways, CGI trailers are far from being a waste or something useless. How would CDPR's game gaining interest, hype and money be a bad thing ?^^
I frankly think of myself as a very lucky person if CDPR (or any other developer in an other context) is giving me something I did not ask for to please me, I won't be disappointed, whatever they give us./>
Glad you'll be as happy as I am whatever we'll get!Panaceum said:Same here mate. I will watch this trailer probably 100 times in a row contemplating every second of it.
