Frist, no, they have to put someone who knows the game, and i am pretty sure they know how to play and beat difficult monsters. It's the meaning of a gameplay video showing how the game is, didn't you see Dark Souls or other hard rpgs with the player dying? i did, it's the meaning of this, showing what the game has, and i'm seeing a weak easy gamplay, CASUAL gameplay. Sorry, it's the truth, documented on video truth.

Second, no, i want to know that the game is big, not knowing everything, but a big travel is possible. They already shown many places and things for the "discover topic".

Not sure what you mean by the first "no", all I said was that the game was most likely in "God mode", aka very easy, or as Docttj, maybe at a lower level, as to whether or not the guy is good at the game isn't the point, but I'd like to point out that he did put oil on his steel sword before a fight with a big monster, just an observation.

As for the second "no", again, simply trying to think like CDPR would, it would be a bit unwise to make a 40 mins long video going across the world, that would be potentially high in spoilers and hard to "control", they are controlling what we can see of the game, showing enough but not too much, again, most likely to leave surprises to the player.

In the Twitch video they said Geralt was way overleveled for the zone. Thats why he one shot those wolves in the beginning.

The Witcher 3 doesn't try to sell on its difficulty unlike Dark Souls but on its world and its story telling. But unlike what you think I think the game will truly be hard. They stated it a few time now.

My post wasn't oriented to the dark souls dificulty matter. But in that case, i should ask you if it's oriented to skyrim or other easier games than The Witcher 2.

I'm taking what i see and i see a "hard enemy" a wyvern says there.... so, i'll stick to the CASUAL label. hey maybe i'm wrong, just saying what i see in this video right?.

I thought the damage the wyvern dealt was pretty small too. Taking into account what level he was, the weapons , and not knowing exactly what setting it was on makes it hard for me to make a conclusion on how hard the overall game is. Plus not knowing where in the overall game the player is meant to come across this quest. Game journalists who got to play the beginning from level 1 said it was difficult, but then again we have no idea how bad those people are at the game so even that's not a great source of information.

I'm choosing to be optimistic, if you don't feel comfortable in what you saw then don't buy it right away and wait till gameplay from someone you know comes after release. Don't make a purchase if you don't feel fully comfortable with the game. I've made that mistake and it sucks

I m not sure to understand you so don't be surprised if my answer is not good. What I meant is you should not expect to see the hardcore side of the game in this kind of video because the audience targeted is larger. But luckily for us they seem to have planned difficulty level for people like you and I who seek real challenge :)

The two "no" were by that opinions you have and were explained in my previous post. I don't think that way and i already explained why. I think they need to show the game how it really is and they can, no problem with difficulty, and also no problem with showing some more travel, well didn't show any at all, but they did show many areas, a lot.

Hey i respect your opinion and is really biased and it's possible they think that way, i hope it's like you say because it's even better for us waiting a challenging game as they say it is.

I think my train of though is mainly driven by my experience with The Witcher 2, on dark difficulty you could 4 shots a normal enemy but a few hits from them and you were dead, I see your point though, I would also like to see a "proper" challenging fight in The Witcher 3 but so far it didn't happen, but I am confident.

He got pretty low on health in the Polish version of 35 minute demo's werewolf fight. If the guy didn't have a regen cheat on he would have died

To be honest, i thought that some time ago, even until now, but every day i'm less optimist about the game and maybe more critic, not that much in general but i don't know why in this place i like to see the details, maybe for the sake of a better product. I like the witcher books, the games and also cdpr, maybe that's why i'm being critic, because i care. :D

Downgrade here, in this thread?

Is there seriously an issue about having concerns for an upcoming game that many people (including myself) have been hyped for for awhile? Really?
I love what CDProkject has done with The Witcher 1 and 2 and GOG for that matter. But there have been recent games that have gone through significant and minor visual downgrades without even informing customers. A big one for me was Dark Souls 2. Watchdogs let down a lot of people too. Putting out Ultra gameplay would not mislead or put away console gamers. The fanbase for The Witcher games is relatively mature and I'm sure that any console players who bought The Witcher 3 already understand that there is going to be a difference in visual quality between the PC and console versions. Hell, most console gamers understand this by now.
It doesn't click with me that we haven't been shown Ultra gameplay when other companies like to show their fans the game at their best. If they don't want to show Ultra gameplay to give people some sort of WOW reaction at launch, then fine. But can we at least know what is going to be in the final game graphics wise? I remember them mentioning volumetric clouds/fog awhile back, is that still a thing? Any mention on Physx in TW3? An issue that was brought up in the comments of the latest Witcher video was foliage and other objects reacting to lighting. Is that a glitch or was something flicked off? This is crap that I would like to know.
Will it kill me not to know this? No, it won't. But these things are nice to know after going through previous downgraded games.

Doc, you are a top notch commenter to me, always resolving the mysteries. As you say guys, probably for the skyrim casual croud and maybe everything it's on that way, though i don't like it neither, but it's acceptable.

I'm a little bit confused by your post, sorry. I assume English is not your first language. Are you saying discussing a potential downgrade often will lead to a ban?

I think he means if you give them one (Treat or video) then they want a lot more. At least that's how my dog is.

Maybe he can tell, because there is other possible interpretation.

Jut to be clear, is normal that people who follows the game is waiting for information, a lot of it (video), videos have the most info concentrated in images you can get and it enters by your eyes, not just words.

I think it's something normal and common to discuss videos, thats why this thread.
