Extremely unlikely. 3D is too GPU intensive for the consoles as everything needs to be rendered twice, which means higher frame rates (at least 60 FPS) are essential to prevent performance from tanking..
For the consoles to achieve this, the resolution and image quality would have to be scaled back big time so it wouldn't even be worth it..
Well If that's the case, then I am way cool without it .

I JUST ORDERED THE NEW ASUS ROG SWIFT WQHD(2560x1440) 144MHZ 3DVISION G-SYNC.
It is part of the "Witcher 3" rig I am putting together.
The Witcher 2 was viewed in "peasant" 1080p 3d 144mhz Asus and it ruled!!! So, I am chomping at the bit to try both games on this new monitor.

I was looking into that monitor myself, but the resolution is going to be a tough nut to crack for 3D. You're going to need a lot of GPU power to run 3D at 1440p..
That said, it's probably a better investment than going 4K at this point..
Indeed, I plan on having two GTX880s by the time the witcher 3 comes out . I have tri-sli 660tis at the moment. I will use one of them for PHYSX at that point/
I am just not sold on 4k. To many issues just yet. Software not made for it, small text etc......
Do not doubt. Even with no any issues 4K can't improve visual part of the game as strong as 3D can. Resolution is only resolution, but stereo is another step. Not simple enhancing, but another word of gaming.
If i had c choice how to play: 720p in stereo or 1080p in 2D i definitely choose 720p+3D with no doubts

Having blast playing once again witcher 2, and now on 3d. Anyone knows if witcher 3 will have 3dvision support? So few games do 3d properly like witcher2 did. Probably best 3d game there with metro series. So has anyone heard anything about 3d?

Hi, Witcher 2 in 3d vision is the BEST game I have ever played in my 30 years of playing games. Did we ever confirm that Witcher 3 will be 3d vision ready?
Nvidia has really calmed down on the whole 3D Vision stuff, as in they don't really "tout" it as a massive feature anymore. Now with stuff like G-Sync and other new technologies 3D Vision has kind of taken the back-seat.
Pretty much every AAA game that releases ends up being 3D Vision compatible, so I would say it's 100% that TW3 will be compatible. Naturally though how good the 3D Vision looks, whether it's as amazing as TW2 was or if it has issues, we won't find out until release day itself and people with 3D Vision try it. They also probably aren't going to go out of their way to advertise that it is 3D Vision capable because as I said Nvidia just doesn't seem to bother doing that anymore and I doubt CDPR will either.

Not exactly.I read somewhere that Witcher's implementation of 3D Vision was one of the best and that The Witcher 2 was a sight to behold in 3D (especially Flotsam forest) so I think you can expect the same for TW3.
Witcher 2 was 3DVision Ready, yes. but it took some months to solve some weird bugs, that make 2D cinematics to go veeeeeeeeeery slow., and a lose of performance in the game in general.
but solved it, the game in 3D is gorgeous.
actually, i suspect TW3 wont have 3d vision support, there is still no a single official word of it, and in order not to lose customers (like me) they just keep silence,without confirming the absence of 3d vision support. No 3d vision - no TW3 buying, as simple as that. BTW thanks for TW2 in 3D
