Best case scenario, twitch bans the streams. Users get asked which store they got the game from = lawsuit time. I'll be rather disappointed if CDPR let it go and don't do anything. It's unfair that some region will get to play it almost two weeks earlier than the rest of the world.

Of course its going to get worse. The longer the game is on sale in that store(or stores as the case may be) the more people will get it.

can't they do a sort of "quarantine" ?
ban every leak on the internet (whether from twitch or other websites), and try to contrain the situation by trying to secure the different batches of copies in the UAE somehow ?
can't they sue the responsible parties ?

This might as well be the last CDPR game the Emirates are getting and I think that CDPR should take legal action against the store or whoever it was that allowed the game to be sold before release!

It's the fault of the shop and company responsible for the distribution of retail copies of the game in that region.

As to the leak itself - it's horrible and it will most likely spiral out of control - but there may be an upside. People were not sure about the quality of console version, and if they encounter video/stream made by people who got the game early this may actually convince them to buy the game once it launches.

Always look at the bright side of life...

I mean - it's terrible. But I think it shouldn't hurt the sales, it may even boost those.
The downside is, that no social media is safe now, if you want to avoid spoilers.

hmm so they don't care about regulations as i originally thought. how typical. i bet some resellers there will try to sell copies on the black market or worse.
