When I played Witcher 1, I loved these songs. They all have some kind of unique lead melody and are not just boring background music that plagues Witcher 3.

In Witcher 3 I've played 60 hours and half way through Novigrad, I've only heard one song I like:

So where is all the awesome tavern music? In Witcher 3 anytime I go into the tavern I don't hear any good music. When will the good music start playing? I've been playing like 60 hours. There is a severe lack of sex in the game and now it seems the music took a hit too. I could be wrong though, maybe you guys can link me to some songs that are just amazing so I can look forward to them?

I was recently watching an anime called Fairy Tail, picked it up again after being away from it for a long time. And I noticed a track from one of the episodes that made me instantly think of Witcher 3. Someone may already have mentioned it in this post but still.

I do love that track from Ard Skellig as my first time going there was one of those truly great gaming moments. It was sunset and that awesome music just fits perfectly for that location. Slowly riding my horse into Kaer Trolde with that music and looking at that beautiful landscape was truly a great moment for me. Love the music in this game.

I guess your taste in music somehow does not fit with the music in Witcher 3 then. I myself think this one has the best soundtracks by far.
The track you mentioned "Silver for Monsters" is awesome and perhaps my favorite among the tracks, but many have posted great tracks from the score here.

I'm not sure about the second track you're looking for, but i've listened Carnal Sins background music carefully - the scene of the discussion between Geralt and the serial killer (i won't name him here), just before the fight. Music is heard very low in the background, but to me it seems to be the same track as in Tower of mice. I could be wrong though, maybe you're looking for a different track from a different stage of the quest

Yep it's very low and appears only here and there (mostly during conversations) during the quest , but its a different track.
In this Video you hear the difference a bit better, when you make it louder.

A unique piece that is easily missable if you don't choose a specific path in The Spirit of Woodlands quest. It probably plays only once in the game and only during that quest. This probably brings even more charm to it.
I think it was made pretty early in the production because it sounds a little different than anything we can hear in the game.

A praise to the soundtrack people
So, after some 5~6 months of playing the Witcher and now playing through Hearts of Stone, I just wanted to leave a post for those guys that, a lot of the times, do not get enough attention.
I'd just like to congratulate Marcin Przybyłowicz and the band of musicians for the absolutely AMAZING songs. I love the fact that you guys took heavy inspiration from polish culture and used so many unique instruments. I'm glad that you took this risk because, not only does it sound amazing, it also made me interested in some eastern europe lore/music that I just did not know about previously.
My congratulations to the band for their amazing performance as well, it's 70% of the songs. Absolutely stunning work. By far, it is the best soundtrack I have ever heard in a piece of media. Thank you so much for your dedication.

let me just start saying "Hearts of Stone" is a one on a billion, proper dlc.
I've never played anything like it since "Bioshock Infinite's Burial at Sea 1+2".
That said, I was just wondering.. Do you think there'll be a release of mp3s/FLACs taken from this DLC, like the digital Soundtrack downloadable in the "Extras" section?
That would be brilliant, because a huge part of the dlc, for me, was the absolutely stunning soundtrack: it gave me chills over and over during the gameplay!!
