Isn't the (short) TV spot a bit misleading? If you haven't heard much about the game before you'd probably come to the conclusion that Geralt is some kind of sorcerer who also happens to use a sword. But - as we all here know - his signs are rather weak and just a secondary weapon. He's first and foremost an excellent sword fighter. That isn't really transported in the spot imho (although it looks really good)...
Ciri can travel in other dimensions, and in the last book she went in that of King Arthur, and she met Galahad
I hope there won't be too much of this world-travel bullshit. I think a lot of people like Witcher because it's rather grounded in comparison to other fantasy franchises. Give me the Wild Hunt world, but stay out of modern countries.
If they are going this route, they could at least include a short trip to the cyberpunk 2077 world. Maybe a small playabable area or cutscene to get a first look on that game.

He uses magic, crossbow & sword, just like he does in the game. If anything, he scares the griffin with magic, hurts it with crossbow and (you assume) kills it with sword.
Yeah, but you have to admit that the magic section is much "longer" than the other two options (although the whole spot is pretty short). I mean it perfectly fits in the picture if you already know about Geralt and the game.
But I speak from the perspective of a complete newcomer who hasn't heard about the game ever before.
Anyway, no big issue.
