At 9:28 you can see the sheep has a wooden crossed "stand" beneath it.

I know they exist in some form, but do they draw themselves? I'm sure modern ones do, but I'm not sure how they would do it in a medieval setting.Multi shot cross bow exist.
Ah! so that was the 'dead-cobbler-and-sheep-stuffed-with-sulphur' reference at the Kayran site in The Witcher 2!
Weird! I kewn this tale but it took place in my country

The repeating crossbow was an ancient Chinese invention, although I've never heard of it reaching Europe in the Middle Ages. It functioned with a magazine of bolts atop the stock, with a lever which spanned the bow and dropped another bolt into place in a single action. The weapon was very light, as were the bolts (thus ineffective against armour) and could loose several of these in a few seconds.I know they exist in some form, but do they draw themselves? Point is really not in fact whether it is realistic. I would compare it to pistols in DMC. The whole game is arcady so why not to have autoaimed pistols with infinite ammo. The Witcher is not very arcady in my opinion and is rather trying to feel realistic so why? Also from a gameplay perspective I am ok with crossbow beign skillshot weapon to take down oponents in the air(like the aiming mode works) but if it is used as infinite ammo chip damage with high rate of fire...not sure whether I like it at all.The repeating crossbow was an ancient Chinese invention, although I've never heard of it reaching Europe in the Middle Ages. Oh yeah, I'm not defending the crossbow. Just saying realism wasn't at play when it comes to weapon durability either. But they always stated that they want to make world as beliavable as possible.
And on the opposite to that statement we have machine-gun crossbow.
But they always stated that they want to make the world as beliavable as possible.I don't think the reason they added weapon durability was realism.
I thought of Kozojed from Sword of Destiny book at first.
Kozojed was a reference to the same legend as well.I thought of Kozojed from Sword of Destiny book at first.![]()
It's bad rep for CDPR, but as long as the game is entertaining, I don't have a problem with it. Sure, it could have been MUCH better, but it's still the only game for which I'm hyped for summer 2015Hi guys : Im sharing this statement that I read in Wcctech from one of the Cd projekt developers .
Monnier explained:
“We can not talk of a downgrade of The Witcher 3 on consoles simply because initially did not even know the specifications of these hardware,” said Monnier. “So we developed the game on PC and then we tried to adapt it to the console. A process similar to that which we use to make the game compatible with the greatest number of configurations possible. ”
“It was not easy, moreover,” continued the designer, “because initially the instruments were still immature. Also for this reason we had to postpone the game twice. A little ‘because we are perfectionists, slightly because the result that we could get not meet our expectations. “
