That must be the best PR campagin ever used for a game. The hype is unreal at this pont.Oh yeah! Gopher is awesome! Had a lot of fun talking to him about various stuff. All around cool guy! Give him some love on his YouTube channel or Twitter!! (@GopherGaming)
Tru, but what I find epecially refreshing this time around is: It's all very transparent and in the open... the courting of the media, the preview events,... I think it will lead to a much more sincere, objective opinion from the press. I, for one, believe the hype, and I generally don't. I wasn't that stoked for a RPG since, wow, the original Dragon Age?That must be the best PR campaign ever used for a game. The hype is unreal at this point.![]()
@octavian123 actually lip sync is better now. You can see it from Charles Dance video. compare it with SOD trailer. It is better now.Is it just me or has the lip syncing gotten worse?
Well, the scene with Emhyr at the throne was an actual cutscene where lip sync was done form scratch and it doesn't use the same technique like the one from dialogue cutscenes.I think he said that because of the merchant in the chest quest. I realized that his lip-syncing wasn't that good as well. I'm guessing it's because of the weird accent of the guy (as their lip syncing technology is automated based on speech). Other characters so far had pretty impressive sync so far (Emhyr is even perfect)
I could be in 2 hours in berlin but have to go to university tomorrow morningExcuse me as I go and complete my teleporter. Berlin here I come!![]()
I haven't seen that yet, I was referring to the merchant quest. Lip syncing quality seems inconsistent. Maybe main quests will have better lip syncing.@octavian123 actually lip sync is better now. You can see it from Charles Dance video. compare it with SOD trailer. It is better now.
This is already well known around here, but I still just wanted to point out how cool you guys are. I've really never seen other developers so actively involved in their own forums. Answering questions, and reassuring members about topics and such. But more importantly, doing so honestly - bro to bro without pr bull and the like.Just a short note here when it comes to Quests and the number of them.
Ignore this.
The number of quests in the game has nothing to do with how many adventures you will actually have. Many Quests will stay with you for very long periods of the game and guide you along other quests and a lot of encounters might not even have Journal Entries, but still have a storyline to them.
In other words, the numbers don't mean anything. It's all about how you experience and play the game, which is why reports on the game length have been so varied.
My humble suggestion....ignore the numbers and when the game launches, just let yourself experience where the stories take you. I promise we did all we could to fill any path you can take with interesting things for you to experience.
Cheers and good night!
