actually i was hoping more for something along the lines of:

A. better AI with better decks, which you can't defeat with starter deck 98% of the time...

B. multiplayer pick-up games

C. physical copies

in order of probability

AI improves as you improve your deck.

No chance of a multiplayer Gwent until Witcher 4 or a iOS and Android game releases

There are physical copies with the collectors edition of the game or just print them.

for clarity:

A. i beg to differ, i've played with stacked and starter decks. it doesn't change, and makes obvious blunders. extremely difficult to even lose 1-2 games out of 100...

B. multiplayer gwent should be a no-brainer. just use the in-game client and add a udp listener :\ but still a long shot...

C. we are aware of that, but i'd still rather buy an official version. CE doesn't contain the full decks either, and reselling them is against EULA.

Did anyone else think it was wierd that they said CDPR didn't know what they were doing when they made Witcher 1? IMO Witcher 1 still does some things better than Witcher 2 & Witcher 3.

Yeah, I agree. Witcher 1 still has a better quest design then TW2 and TW3. And the Alchemy system.

I disagree, Witcher 1 had alot of fedex quests.. Not even close to W2/W3 in terms of quality. Alchemy yes, game atmosphere yes - but definitely not quests.

Vizima confidential.
And there is not all the bad handholding there is in Witcher 3. In Witcher 3 all you do is follow a red trail with Witcher senses, over and over and over again. Oh, and the quest markers, my God.

Handholding or not, quests in Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 are much better written than in Witcher 1.

Yeah, but a quest is also meant to be played, not only read.

What is played? Because alot of Witcher 1 quests was running from place to place or kill 10 monsters and find 10 flowers. In fact every quest in every game is more or less: Find something or kill something. What makes quests good or bad is writing/story/character development etc...

I dunno. If you disable mini-map and other optional HUD hand-holding, I found the witcher senses to be pretty cool (it was actually really hard for me at first because I'm red-green color deficient, so finding red tracks in green grass was very difficult - thank God they added a color blind friendly version). The quests in 3 are better written IMO and the way some quests effect others is better too IMO. I also enjoyed the quest design and choice/consequences more in 3 generally speaking. I agree about alchemy though. We will just have to agree to disagree I suppose on the quest part. And that's fine.

Witcher 1 just had too much running around in swamps. i dreaded Velen but it was nowhere as tedious as the one near Vizima. Murky Waters was a much needed break for me after two chapters of fighting drowners.

and I do like that being neutral is actually a legit option in W1 instead of in W2/W3 you either do or you don't with the choices presented to you.

CDPR have posted the VoD from this stream (reminder, it was an event for investors, nothing too exciting in there) on their YT channel, I recall some people asking for it:

Thank you for this it is good to see CDPR has a little breathing room . It is also good to see a vision realized .

This is from official twitter to announce winning 3 awards during Playstation Awards 2015 in Japan.

The main issue from here.
CDPR have send a message to Japanese users through Spike-Chun Soft (Japan publisher) in official web site for Witcher3.

Actual message from Adam Badowski with illustration of "Geralt in Ronin" is below.

Easy translation is below
The environment that Japanese game industry is surrounded is full of surprise. Soon after ''The Witcher3 Wild Hunt'' was released, I visited Japan for the first time. Then I became aware of Japanese Gamer's devotion to video game or culture of game and got an impression about that. To sell TW3 in Japan, we had two difficult problems we should get over. First, there was a lot of difference between Japanese RPG and European RPG, which means Japanese Gamers haven't been familiar with ours. Secondly, TW3 is our first product which is released on Playstation platform, thus I presumed ''Geralt of Rivia'' would be unfamiliar name to Japan. To tell the truth, I was worried about whether or not our story-telling methods is welcomed in Japan. I'd say Geralt has the aspect like "Ronin", which is some kind of Samurai who doesn't belong to anybody or anywhere. On the other hand, most of the Geralt's adventure is based on Slavic myth which is Japanese gamer are not familiar with.

Several months have passed since released, we have earned "User's Choice Award'' from Japanese gamer. I assume the way we did has totally been accepted. I am so pleased about that, and on behalf of our studio let me tell you our gratitude. Thank you very much!

For Japanese users, we've got a little gift. I hope you like "Geralt in Ronin!''

CD PROJEKT RED Head of Studio
Adam Badowski
Thanks CDPR! Thanks Adam! You are AWESOME:)

Thanks for the translation @pinoko! I've saw it earlier but, as my japonese is restricted to food names and thank you, I couldn't understand the meaning of the message.
