Witcher 3 - Playstation NEO / 4.5 Question

Now that the Playstation Neo has been announced I was wondering if this might have any effect on the Witcher 3. If for example the fps were increased or the textures improved the Neo console would be a must buy for me. Anyone care to speculate as to what the possibilities are for CDPR doing this are?

There might be a patch for the Neo and Scorpio versions. I know Marcin Iwinski mentioned that the hypothetical Scorpio specs would allow it to run W3 on high settings. But I'm not sure they'll bother doing it. Cyberpunk 2077 will definitely have Neo and Scorpio versions though.

Uh, how about just setting back money for the PS4 and getting a PC?

Framerate will improve def, but dont anticipate anything special beyond that unless they decide there is profit to be made. Frankly, it is worthy of extra effort, and the money to buy a different version of the game.

It's doable with a patch, but whether or not it will be done is up to CDPR. I wouldn't be surprised if they were waiting for those systems to launch before announcing an EE.
