You always bring up wonderful points, Scholdarr! Yes, I remember another thread discussing this too. Almost all of the injuries people receive, save decapitations and possibly spinal injuries from behind, would not cause death instantly. But I can overlook that. Sadly, I feel the battle aftermath areas are missed opportunities. [just an idea here...] It would have been an amazing and immediate way to convey suffering on a literal, but also deeply subconscious way. Like a reminder that regardless of neutrality or intent there is a cost to actions involving peoples. A heavy cost. A cost in blood and pain that doesn't just go away as soon as the fighting stops.Well, for what it's worth I don't think they handled violence any better neither. Violence in Witcher 3 is mostly just there for the eye-candy, for the visuals, for simple gore-porn. But it's never used for storytelling or any kind of narrative form outsid the over-stylized violence in combat. Instead of being a natural tool for emotional and believable storytelling violence is just a pure "fun" element in the game.
Violence definitely was not removed. It's over the top in this game. Only sexual content was cut out.Maybe some violence/sex scenes were heavily removed.
I think they are just not very well done... most ingame cutscenes in the game feel a little wooden. No need to jump at shadows. The Witcher 2 sex scenes >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Witcher 3 sex scenes,.
Its not even a contest.
Either laziness happened or SJW happened.
You cannot seriously compare the erotic scenes to the other cutscenes in the game, which are way longer and more complex (and well done). The one "sex scene" used several times is fine, judged on it's own merits. But there should be at least 3-4 variants in the game, at least for the major characters. They managed to do this in the Witcher 2, a much smaller game with a much smaller budget. It is no important matter, of course not, but it is a little disappointing how it was handled in the end.I think they are just not very well done... most ingame cutscenes in the game feel a little wooden. True true... good thing that's something that most likely can also be remedied by modders... hopefully. You cannot seriously compare the erotic scenes to the other cutscenes in the game, which are way longer and more complex (and well done). Yeah and sea is empty fromn monsters and interest shame really it feels so epic its no finishedi forgot mermaids from trailers, lets hope they will bring back cut content in upcoming DLC
You can let Ciri kiss the guy, right before the wild hunt shows up.Related to this, anyone wonder why they ask Ciri about her sexual preference in that sauna scene if they weren't ever planning on having her hit on someone? I don't mean full sex scene - though I wouldn't have objected - but at least a more romanceable scene? The question seemed really out of place when it never came back into play.
