I'd rather recommend downloading those 5.2GB via .torrent, unless you have a rock solid and super stable connection.
MEGA lets you pause and resume a download as well, but in my experience, isn't that reliable and more error-prone when handling single files of that size. So be warned.

Does anyone have problem with the 5GB version of the 35min demo? No matter where I downloaded it - either from MEGA or Gamersyde, the video cannot play past 26min or so (right when Geralt fights the second Water Hag). I think the original upload must have been damaged. Anyone?

I don't have any issues playing the whole thing. I'm using Media Player Classic to play it.

For demos shown at conventions (same section as in this video), they were using a PC setup. So it's highly likely they used the same (or a similar) setup to record this demo as well.

They have barely started the optimization phase. Apparently they disabled quite some eyecandy features to get stable fps for the presentations, since the game isn't optimized yet. You can see that many screenshots they released (and also the footage from VGX and SoD trailers) look considerably better, so they have these eyecandy features in place, they're just not optimized enough yet.
