There fucking is no fucking way in the fucking hell that Geralt would ever hurt Ciri in any way.
She is the closest thing to him in his cold and dark world, and he loves her more than anyone else close to him.

"Geralt and Ciri walk into the sunset, hand in hand" ending, please. :p

And by "hand in hand", we mean each one carrying the severed hand of the other, because they just had a wicked battle and their sword-hand is cut.

While Geralt would never ever harm her, and would most likely kill himself if he does have to kill her, we still need to see what the hell would force us, as players, to see killing her as being the Lesser Evil.

No, Geralt has to finally die. You hear me, he has to die. It's inevitable. As long as Geralt lives nobody around him is safe. He was supposed to die a long time ago and now his time has finally come. Remember, this is Geralt's final chapter and no Witcher ever died a natural death. He will be remembed by those who loved him. Farewell, Geralt. :p

I hate happy endings. And honestly, Sapkowksi's ending was perfect.

Hm, if you think killing Ciri would in any way mean "the lesser evil" for Geralt you maybe got his character and motives (at least the original ones) completely wrong... ;)

Read the bracket again, mate. :coffee:

And no, times will never change. There is only one true Geralt. Deal with it. :p

It's actually pretty funny that you stick to the lore in the first half of your post and then compeltely turn against it in the second part...

I'm being realistic, it's a game, Geralt can actually choose Triss over Yennefer, if that happens, then Geralt can kill Ciri it seems, in terms of storytelling, that counts as "shit changes, bro".

Everything is possible. That doesn't mean that it's probable or that it should be aspired. ;)

I just strongly believe that we can avoid: Geralt/Yen/Ciri against Ciri/Yen/Geralt in grand finale. Enough with this characters with strong positive bond have to face each other in act III cliché already.

Hello CD Project!!
I loved this Trailer, no questions asked.
But Could the Next Trailer be a little more fixed on Characters and their role in the story or at least the world??
(ie: Witchers Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel and Letho, along with any other... and Triss, and Especially Zoltan and Dandelion!)

Up to date its olny been about Geralt not being able to take on Neutrality, and The Wild Hunt wrecking the world as they threaten every man to cross their path, and Ciri Running and then Running and finally more Running while teleporting, and Yennefer Running and Running on horseback then getting involved in the plot who knows how etc... Not much of the rest of the world, save for the scenery :(

Give us some of the RPG Genre point of view! Let us See just how much of an RPG this game truly IS!!!

Many Thanks!

Geralt killing Ciri?

NEVER!!!

First: @EmperorZorn should never end the game which it' would be the worst fiasco of CDPR and be a world economic failure caused by the sudden disappearance of coffee on the market (emergency measure taken by the UN and NATO in order to avoid over caffeine intoxication in Zorn's blood and its deadly consequences for human integrity)

Two: Geralt could not be able to harm Ciri even is this would be the lesser evil.

Three: If Geralt cannot kill Ciri, she would be killed by Yennefer, and then Geralt had be obliged to kill Yen at his turn... and give up, covered by the blood of his two loved ones.... walking alone and, not amnesic but mad...

If we are going with a cheesy Shakespearean ending, then I see it like this:

Geralt gets killed trying to protect Ciri from Yennefer, and yennefer gets wounded by Geralt. Ciri manages to bring a wounded Yennefer to her knees and at her mercy, now the player gets a choice of sparing Yennefer or killing her.

Would have done in Hamlet's day, where Ham-to-Ham Combat was how you got all those Large Hams off the stage.

Now we expect better plot twists. Say, a Tosca. Yen is caught protecting Geralt. Geralt takes the fall for her, and Yen escapes. Ciri seduces Emhyr in a deal for Geralt's life. Emhyr signs an order to stage a sham execution. The execution is actually carried out. Ciri goes three-sigma on Emhyr and his palace guard.
