Witcher causing PC Crash

My pc crashes after about 10 minutes into playing. No error code, just a hard restart.Running an i5 4690k, gtx 970 with the latest driver, and 8 gigs of ram. I was running on ultra settings at about 40-50 fps. Any thoughts?

Yeah my game randomly crashes also. Happened to me while i was in the menu, twice. Had to restart computer since nothing was responding.

I had this too, I assumed it was because the settings I'd set were too high (Ultra preset for graphics, high for AA, 1080p, 60fps max, GameWorks enabled) for my 970 to handle but maybe it's just a game/driver issue?I played some more with High preset for graphics, low for AA, 1080p, 60fps max, GameWorks disabled and had no issues.
