Witcher forums is talking to me in Polish, and I selected english.

As stated, randomly the forum will show me polish. At the bottom under Options it says "gibberish", and the "posting" or whatever message is also polish. I've selected english quite a few times and since most things are in english, I think it's something with the forum software.

Interesting. I've noticed that the spoiler-button switches from English to Polish once you click it, but so far, nothing else on the forum behaves this way; for me, at least.

What was once English is now Polish!

The problem with spoiler tags is a known one.

However, the whole forum? Are you sure you are accessing from http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/ ? Can you take a screenshot of the problem and post it here?

There seem to have been a few issues with random Polish for about a week now. Bear with it, it's not just you.

Good, good. I kind of like it, though.

Heh. "Random Polish" - should be marketed as a feature.

It increases immersion, doesn't it?

We should just be grateful it isn't Elder Speech. :)

Would that make a difference for you? The only Polish word I'd know is "pivo", and that's just a wild guess based on the fact that it seems to be pretty much universal east of Austria, heh. Come to think of it, there should be a pivo button. I don't know what it'd do, but it sounds like a good idea.

It's spelled "piwo". In these strange parts of europe we use "w" instead of "v".. :S
I vote yes for "piwo" button as instead of "like".. :p

What's funny is that just today I was actually thinking it's a bit odd that "Wiedźmin" is spelled with a W because based on my, y'know, in-depth knowledge of other Slavic languages (meaning about ten words each of Croatian, Czech and Russian, and Russian is totally irrelevant to this question), I'd expect a V there. I guess that solves that mystery.

Can't believe I couldn't even get that right, though, but I guess that's what happens if you learn how to read from the back of beer cans.

The only polish word I know is something that gets yelled when you are on fire and are trying frantically to put it out with your hands :p

OT: I think I have had the language switch a few times too, but setting it to English again solved it for me.

Also, why does the forum look so strange on my HTC? Any way to get the forum to behave and look like it is on my pc?

Uuh, that's because they actually have a version specifically for cellphones that runs faster and is easier to navigate on a small touchscreen... personally, I really, really appreciate that...

I want them to have an "Elder Speech" option for the forum. That would be so much awesome that the word awesome can't even contain it all.

The only places I've noticed that are Polish (when everything else is English) would be the expanded options in the full editor as well as the "message sent" when sending a PM and the "sending message" or whatever it says at the top as you hit send.

The forum really needs some more polish... what? Guys? Don't leave!
