WItcher trio suggestion

+
I think the witcher trio got overnerfed to the point that it feels you don't want us playing them anymore, to the point that i'm asking why don't you remove them from the game. I understand they were used too much and almost felt auto-include but i'd like to suggest a different approach.
How about not all witchers are equal in terms of provision cost?
For example Eskel could be 5p, Lambert could be 9p, Vesemir could be 13p, while all being 3 STR.

This would open the possibility of only using 2 of them aswell, which would still be worse than Impera Brigade for example, but it would add progressive cost to thinning.

I like that suggestion, but I think Triss and Yennefer should be 7p, while Ciri is 10. As noone will include a single one, Triss and Yennefer should both have the same provisions. And being 8 provisions on average should be alright even if they have 3 strength.

Devs: Witchers are in almost every deck.
Devs: Let's nerf them into oblivion.

I understand that the Witchers needed to be changed, but c'mon, this nerf is like killing a mosquito with a flamethrower. I had really hoped that the Witchers would get another ability, something like a neutral Crones. Anything but... this.

I'm assuming the Witchers will get new abilities in the near future, but for now, I'm really happy they're gone. Thank god, they were everywhere. Now people actually have to put some thought into thinning tools instead of slapping Witchers into every deck they make for a 12 point opener with Roach, who was also nerfed.

They were everywhere because they thinned the deck by 2 and provided 3 draw opportunities. The main benefit of the points was it provided early tempo with the thinning (blue coin) and easy catch-up ability (red coin).

Getting to the point.... The issue with Witchers is and always has been the trio concept. There were other thin options available but, outside of SK and a few exceptions, all of them provided one deck thin. Many of the non-bronze options also only have one draw opportunity. These other thin options weren't nearly as effective to carry for both reasons. You pay a premium to thin your deck, apparently. If you do not draw those tools you pay the premium for nothing. If they don't improve your future draws enough the same is true. Witchers were reliable in both regards.

Based on the above it makes far more sense to break up the trio and give each Witcher a unique ability. In doing so the incentive to play them drops and other thin options become more desirable. The only real downside there is the cards must be retooled, which is more involved compared to changing a number (reason the provision system exists). Likewise, it creates a void in the deck thinning department. Adjusting Witchers was fine. The way they chose to do so is not. Failing to address the void it would create is not either.

I'd add, too many changes and adjustments appear to be made based on potential future changes down the road. I don't know if this is due to laziness or incompetence (suspect a bit of both, to be frank). It is getting a bit old though.

Remember the OLD Alba Pikemen mechanic, where they would pull the next copy if the card sticks to the board for a turn? Why no add such high risk - high reward for the Trio?

I know during the Midwinter Fiasco Gwent went overboard with the tutoring, but there is no law forbidding you to be creative with it. There were some faction specific mechanics for tutoring cards like the Drummon Shieldmaidens, Arachas Drones that needed a certain condition to trigger their pull. What was wrong with those? You can even throw the NG Emissaries in there, they had a unique pull too, that had to SYNERGYZE with specific cards to get your points back.

Gosh, to think of how much have been dumbed down in this game...
