Witcher will be 3 on pc?

Witcher will be 3 on pc? CD or project exchange pc to console? I really like the witcher but if the third part will make the console without a PC I have to give up this game and I do not want to ((((

Why wouldn't it be on PC? Doesn't make any sense. The series has sold millions of copies on PC. Why would they want to get rid of that customer base?

The Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 are both for PC so why wouldn't the Witcher 3 be?

I bought 2 copies of the Witcher 2 and later i bought the Witcher 1 ( i already had it but i lost the DVD when i was moving) so i don't really see any reason why it wouldn't be...

They said PC will remain their first platform, even if they're planning to do games for both pc and console as well. They also said that so far PC game developing is less expensive, even though they gonna get pirated more than console games.

Cause I am really really tired of developers using that excuse to not make games on the PC.

I'm not claiming anything, I'm reporting what a dev (from Ubisoft) said in an interview. I do not have the rates in my hand, and I'm afraid none of us has either.

I think the only thing anybody's sure of is that piracy is less on the Xbox 360 (but possibly just as prevalent on other consoles as on PCs). Pirates and their sympathizers don't publish anything unless it's self-serving, and real anti-piracy operations keep quiet.

That's mostly because Microsoft has a closed system with heavy-handed DRM and enforcement: you have to have a hacked 360 to run pirated titles, you can go to jail for selling hacked 360s, and Microsoft has the technical means to ban suspected hacked 360s.

As pernicious as piracy is, I'm quite sure none of us want to see DRM as heavy as M$ uses as the alternative.

Anyway, unless something strange happens in the course of doing the 360 port of TW2, I expect CDPR will stick to what they know best and continue to do PC-first if not PC-exclusive work.

CD Projekt are not Ubi (and yet, they didn't sell their soul to M$), so yes, there will be Witcher 3 on PC.

Bethesda used to make games for the PC, but now Skyrim is actually an xbox360 port. People are complaining about the interface being made for the xbox and doesn't work as well on the PC. Though personally I have no problems with it.

So OP is probably worried Red Projekt will cave in to $$$ and start making games for consoles rather than the PC.

As for Skyrim I don't understand all the hate about the UI, I found it quite good and I play on the PC using mouse/keyboard.
