Working As Intended? Kerack's Frigate Soldier spawn

I played in a match May 6th after the new season was introduced. My opponent played down a soldier then followed it with a Kerack's Frigate. The spawned doomed Frigate soldier acted as a crew leading the Frigate to perform it's spawn ability after later turns. Is this working correctly? I thought I had to lay to two separate soldier cards for the Frigate to be crewed, not have one of it's spawn count as a crew. Thanks for addressing this.

As long as the Frigate has any kind of cards adjacent to it that have a Soldier tag (doesn't matter if it's a normal Soldier card that you played or a token card with Soldier tag that was spawned by any card), it will be able to spawn new token Soldiers.

Intended. That card has always functioned in that manner, since it was first released.
