As example your new tech demo, nice wood in representation ,but the worst landscape I have ever seen. It feels claustrophobic
Normally if you are on mountains you won't have villages, towns or cities there. Every village has a surroundings region with field and animal husbandry, this is completely missing, alternative you have fishing, but even then you needs a "balanced" diet.
Example Kingdom Comes deliverance 2. How to express a world that suggests Temeria as an expanse. This is an critical experience to rise the level of experience to a coherent full one.
I want this view to show the size of the world and initiate the feeling of the world, to show uniqueness of the regions and their characteristics, this is important. Dschingis Khan mongols are the most prominent example of this feelings. they settled in Hungary as it reminded him of the homeland. It is better to have invisible walls as to have synthetically ones with environment.
A worst case scenario on Dawnwalker. I could have accepted that in the past but today to set the imagination of mind runs on that. This is the extrapolation which is required to fill this, like a wine that you describe as full-bodied. With it all economical and logistical implications. This scenery you build in tech demo in fundamental depended on this view. If we locate it in Kovir or Kaer Morhen.
I can't see a place on this map that suggest this kind landscape, there are no settlements inside mountains.
For that you need to edit how settlements are placed on the world map. That the Witcher world map is not sophisticated enough can be seen and The Kingdom Angren, economical only one settlement which indicted no knights, soldiers and logistics like food. This is just not possible
How would such a place looks like:
In the south regions of this picture, Italy, we would have something like our Nilfgaard and the northern kingdoms as world represented. The part of the world we represent is insignificant to the size a world has. The layer mountains and the layer coastal regions.
The edits and definitions we would need to do are how teleportation works, are there distance limiter!? As it seams do we have time travel which isn't a teleportation in 3D rather 4D, means the distance isn't the problem there.
How to plausible:
Differentiation between Sorcerer, Witches and Elder Blood.
Some real world example Swiss Zurich for a all settlement regions that are suggested on this maps.
A landscape in a mountain/alps region even has far reaching space. The from you suggested landscape is being suggested inside mountain space, not coastal regions.
Some real world example of Norway and fjords, what this suggestion show the most similarities for the Skellige regions. I would understand as Kovir.
Christianization of Scandinavia is about 1104, 1154 and 1164.
Maybe it is useful to reshape the north regions and associate Skellige with it.
Toussaint and France is a big thing, France regions are normally open the landscape, flat with exclusion of the south east.
[/SPOILER]
I only can define a derivation frame of thing that already exists, I am older now, and even at the 2016 I saw this things, maybe not this intense but I got aware of it, especially on Skellige. The world misses many details and it is really small. We have some level of Dukes as Kings here of sovereignty Kingdoms. The Witcher is compressed as fuck.

- Fist map
- allows imagination
- Second map
- highlights the problem
- Third map
- is a equal problem.
- Skellige isles are a problem too.
- boat technology and environment doesn't match.
- It is the early stage of early medieval 700 bis 1100 a.c. Christi vikings and not high medieval 1300 Hanseatic League
- This ship is a historical problem:
- The potential time and ships used on Skellige would decommissioned and switched if this much time is inbetween, this is Kraweeltime and from 800 until 1300 (1500 three-masted) with a break of one generation of 1050 with Nef models. I can understand the long-ship and Nef transition but an additional generation is really much to transit and adaption time.

- Sorcerer/Witches
- Space
- max. 500 Km
- Space

- Space
- max. 1000 km
- Time
- time inside 1000 km - just suggestion I don't know the lore limitations or requirements to make the past claims feasible.
- Space

Titles define hierarchies in the size of the collection from the previous title.
- Continent/
- Climtaic zones/
- Culture/
- Kaiser -- Emperor
- König -- King -- relative State of absolute sovereignty Kingdom can be Grand Duke or Duke
- Großherzog -- Grand Duke
- Herzog -- Duke
- Fürst -- ?Prince?
- Graf/Gräfin -- Earl = Jarl "Count"
- Baronin/Freiherr -- Baron
- Ritter
- Edler
- Junker
