World is not interactive enough, thoughts?

The last time I played, I found the most "engaging" thing to be trying to climb on rooftops and seeing how high I can jump down from with the double jump without dying. Not a long lasting excitement, but I'm kinda bored with the grind that the game otherwise is.

Do what I do. Run around to those little "crime scenes" you see all over the city. Hit one of the armed guys with cyberpsychosis, and watch as he off his buddies. Then hit him with suicide if cyberpsychosis wears off before he's done killing everyone. :p

It would be enough for me (while waiting for mods or DEV updates) to just have given us random interiors for all the freaking stores that have OPEN sighs but the doors are locked. And have the street food vendors serve food just like the ONE they have do so in one of the missions. And sitting at any furniture. Those THREE things would have been enough for me to suspend disbelief for now (for walking the city I mean).

I like walking around since the game has so much immersion. But i wish i had some kind of activity to play around with. Gwent was a big enough mini game that it became the activity in witcher 3 , witcher 2 had dice poker. Only thing that is similar in cyberpunk is racing and that's only 4 races. (witcher 3 also had races and fighting)

At least CDPR copied RDR2 story and changed Arthur to V lol

Well they did said they wanted to be like Rockstar lol. But joking aside, they definitely took notes but the stories are different enough. Cyberpunk's story is about purpose while Red Dead 2 is more about redemption. Although I definitely like Arthur more than V. Arthur's in my top 3 with Geralt and Joel.

Firstly I must say that the game is great and I enjoy playing it very much, but more and more I am playing I cant shake that one big dissapointment or issue I have with the game and thats that the world just not seem interactive enough and its really shame cause it has so much potential and unused opportunities in that area. I dont know I just thought it would be more interactive like GTA you know more specifically like GTA SA.

- All those food stands 24/7 or other shops around the game you cant interact with ... why you cant buy a hotdog or cofee or beer whatever then drink or eat it with some nice animation .. those are tiny things but it really adds immersion and life into the game
- Restaurants and bars ... sadly they are completely obsolete and not worth going in there, its just an inventory barter same as with the food machines and since all food gives same boost you just dont have to go there ever ... why you cant just sit around the bar or restaurant drink or eat something with some animations and chill you know maybe watch some strippers and give them some eddies you know
- Too few channels in TV and you cant interact with anything while browsing the web thats a shame ...
- No minigames (at least so far) there is also a lot of unused potential, i saw playing/gaming machines make them usable for in game gaming, pub games like darts or pool, hazard machines (also in game) maybe in game casino ?, there are shooting ranges at gun shops so why not make a minigame here to shoot for high score etc.
- Customizable cars (hope it will be added in some future DLC)
- What are those BDs for if you cant watch them? I still cant figure out why you can buy them them then? and whats the function of pawn shops cause you cant use almost anything he is selling and you can sell him everything you can sell to other vendors
- Too few prostitute/toys types ... I came only across two so far (one male, one female) and playing as male V I dont find the female version very atractive

Those are just few I can think of from the top of my head, feel free to add more if you think of any. I dont know after 8 years of development I just expected the world to be way more interactive and that there will be more things to do when you are not on a mission to just hang out you know.

But otherwise the game is great :)

How it can be improved? (probably wont, but hey a man can dream) Your thoughts?
I would completely endorse all of those being added into the game (aside from the prostitution stuff, but that’s just me). I’d honestly want to experience what a Night City casino would feel like, or to be able to play with the arcade machines you see throughout the city. CDPR, if you’re thinking of adding any of these things into the game, definitely take your time on it to make sure things work properly.

Give us reason to interact with the world too. There is no reason to visit your apartment, sleep in your bed and take a shower. There are a lot of vending machines with different flavors of drinks and snacks that all give same bonuses. If each of them gave you different bonus that could complement your playstyle, there would be a reason to search for specific vending machines around you. If sleeping in your bed would give you XP bonus for an hour there would be reason to visit your apartment frequently instead of twice per playthrough.

I totally agree. NC is beautiful and atmospheric, but you have absolutely nothing to do in it. I cherish the quests moments, when we just sitting in the car with Panam and looking out the window, or drinking coffee with Kerry, or eating with Takemura. Too bad we can't do it on our own.
Some mini games would be nice too, like darts or something.

I think the game is already outstandingly interactive the way it is. If I had the choice of them investing 10 developer hours into some "minigames" or more quests, I'd take the quests.

For V lol, one could say the story is about Redemption for Johnny ;)

I'd probably spend a few hours doing that Roach video game. That looks right up my alley for stupid in game nonsense

I whole heartedly agree. The story, side quests and story related characters are amazing and Night city has a lot of personality, but the lack of interaction with the city is a real bummer. Poor npc a.i. and the fact that most objects, vendors, restaurants, gaming machines etc. are there just as audiovisual elements, really takes out of immersion. I still enjoy the game, but hope they'll add more things to do besides combat and hacking. More modification and personalisation options would be nice as well.

This may be the case right now. But let's see what CDPR does in future updates. A lot of pressure was put on them to solve graphics and performance issues with the current generation consoles. There could be a high possibility of crashes of they had tried to launch all the promised content on the current generation consoles. PC could probably handle it, but then it would have upset everyone that bought it on console. So, let's pretend that the company is waiting omg for everyone to get the newer consoles while they work out the current issues with the current version that is out.

Look at it like this. CDPR is probably taking us on the journey. We are introduced to Night City. Based on some of the wide quest, I'd say the game takes place during the summer. Some of the armed forces characters speak about how the vodka taste in the heat. Not to mention how all the NOMADS are dressed. In the timeline, it's possible that CDPR will update things in the game over a story timeline of their own. Social interactions was a major desire that players we're expecting to be in the game. I agree. But maybe it follows a timeline structure.

I'll give a fictional short list of why certain things aren't available yet.

* Lizzy's Bar: (The Mox are still getting to know you)
* NC Railway: (Upgrades needed to be done)
* NOMADS: (You left your original clan, so they are still warming up to you and Panama hasn't carried you deeper in her life path)
* Buying Expensive Apartment: (Realistically, V has not yet met enough high rollers that have welcomed her into the high roller life, so that she can afford those expensive things)

The list goes on. Again, I base it off a fictional reason. Yes, you can acquire a lot of cash in the game, but in reality would V have really held on to a lot of that cash, while purchasing Cyberware and weapons? At least in the NOMAD life path, most of her cash would have been to keep her apartment, eat and pay her car note, if she has one.

Please STOP asking for GTA. We already have that game.

Mini games are dumb. Do you REALLY log into GTA to play Tennis or Golf?
This is a tactical RPG. It's gameplay is a lot closer to Metal Gear v or Deus Ex.

Some investor sees cars and a city an immediately goes to what it knows and says "oh, like GTA" and does not hear the dev when they say "well sort of but not really."

What part of the 45 min demo they showed so long ago tells you its GTA? It doesn't. It showcased tactical RPG.

This is what they sold us. It's your fault if you chose to make up a false narrative.

I never thought this game was GTA until I played it and saw all the obvious gameppay similarities.
