ok i thought about this since last night, and my answer is still NO! Not because I don't love the series, and some of the ideas offered here have merit- but realistically, MMOs are dreadful. I have played five different ones between releases of SP RPG s that I wanted, and the social aspect is a nice benefit, but overall, they are all lacking a cohesive storyline. All of them have a model that lacks the ability to become a part of the story, in favor of grinding your way to that top- level gear or competition to the top of the rankings lists. To me this is diametrically opposed to the goals we have in the Witcher series. ( yes, we all want that top gear, but at least we can actually get it in SP game format.) Every MMO i have ever played had an expansion that ruined the skill trees, the gears, the potions, and the economies. In short, they do not do a good job of staying with the story development. Add to this, the games generally become supersaturated with tween players who just don't have enough life experience to behave in a social setting or realistically keep an artificial economy stable, and you have the crux of the myriad reasons I hope we never ever see a Witcher MMO offering.
