Yikes, you really want them to lose those potential lawsuits.or, just drop console version, focus on pc only.
You don't erase revenue streams at this level of corporate life. Shareholders will look for and find blood. Maybe even call a fixer.

from what i see, ps4/xbox 1 are at its absolute limit, if they intend to fix the game to suit the current gen at its current content & state, which probably mean they cant add more feature/contents cos the machine will just freak out again, and that will also drag pc/ps5/xsx down with it.Yikes, you really want them to lose those potential lawsuits.

Yes.would you as a player prefer that CDPR keep revising, improving, expanding, and enhancing Cyberpunk 2077 for many years to come
Agreed.Personally, I hope they constantly keep working on this game and revising it until all the initial shortcomings become a distant memory. I don't really see a need for a sequel, until we get see a new generational leap in gaming technology.
Yeah, no. They sold us a $20 game for $60. They got all the money they’re gonna get out of me. And if they do improve it, doing the whole “paid DLC” would be another thing they walked back on—but hey, with their current trend, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it.With new main story/side quest/gig/feature DLC every few months or so, I can see myself enjoying this game for a long, long time. Doesn't even need to be free of charge - I'd gladly pay for high quality DLC that keeps me in this world for the long haul.
This is something I don't think CDPR really understands the long-term implications this game will leave. If this game ends up staying trash (it will, let's be honest.) then CDPR will have the reputation of being a mediocre game developer. So next time they release a game, there will be no hype. There will be memes and jokes about how bad the gameplay will be, how buggy the game will be, how unfinished every mechanic is going to be.Before you even think about a Cyberpunk 2, CDPR must fix this messy game, show the players they are HONEST about making this game better, get themselves out of a potential lawsuit and survive long enough to think about making a sequel and a TW 4 game.
Yup, that's my estimation too... most worrying/telling, I think they haven't even acknowledged that the game has any major problems outside of basic bugs and stability, have they? They seam to be under the impression everything about the game is pretty much a-ok on PC, right, even despite the 7 on metacritic? The bar for what the game was actually supposed to be originally, also seams to be dropping constantly in the media and a certain subset of fans right now...This is something I don't think CDPR really understands the long-term implications this game will leave. If CDPR doesn't fix this (they won't) then they are never going to be able to market a game again. Peoples expectations are going to be so low. Look at Watch Dogs Legion, it accomplished the things that cyberpunk failed to do, yet it still didn't get as many sales, simply because Ubisoft has a reputation of putting out mediocre games.
Cyberpunk 2077 launch trailer has 16 million views, game gets 8 million pre-orders. Meanwhile Watch Dogs launch trailer has 97k views.

Yea, that's one way to memory-hole all the marketing hype, I guess... figures. The senior quest designer for this game retweeted an article that said people had unrealistic expectations. It speaks for itself.
