Plaese add a poll. Single player DLC of course. Ideally more than 2, considering Cyberpunk 2 will never be a thing (two games in same map makes no sense...)

Actually it makes perfect sense, I never understood why some developers like R* build a huge complex world and then just used it for a single detailed story experience and then went on to create a whole new one.

I would love to see more stories told in Night City, completely different stories from that of V. There is unlimited potential for great story telling. DLC is a definite posibility, but a more complex new stories, maybe few year into the future or few year into the past tweaking the city just a bit and creating a whole new $60 game from it is well worth it.

I would rather have a new $60 story experience in Night City with small updates to the city map, then have to wait another 8+ years for a whole new area and new story experience.

The priority should be to fix the game and give us more stories, a more alive night city and an evolution of the game. Multiplayer does not make sense because the game that is not stable.

I gravitate to single player games. One of the reasons I wanted this one to succeed so much was because of the marketing and the cool potential they sold.

I won't be bothering with the multiplayer version. I play Fallout 4 still, and was never interested nor tried FO76. Skyrim over ESO. GTA5 but never online.

Single player content all the way thanks!

As long as my brother and I can play co-op...I'd support Multiplayer to some degree. One character spec'ing in one area of expertise an the other...in a different one to cover each other.

But that's maybe too much to hope for.

a cooperative multiplayer would only make sense if there were lifepath with ramifications in the story

Money I spent on Cyberpunk 2077 for the Single Player;

$420 AUD for the Xbox Collectors Edition
$89.95 on GOG for the PC Edition
~$100 on random Cyberpunk Merchandise

Even fought my way through the bot swarm to get a 3080.

Money I would spend on any Multiplayer Cyberpunk?

...a whole bunch of eddies on other peoples single player games.

-----------

I really hope they turn Cyberpunk 2077 into a content machine for single player offline content.

Something like what Stellaris has done (opinions and thoughts about DLC etc aside) has been a constant source of single player engagement since release. Keeps the money flowing into them - keeps their ethos intact - and creates better experiences for everyone.

I mean, they won't cancel their MP plans so the point really is moot. But for arguments sake, I'd like to see more SP content. I don't care about MP at all.

Tell that to Rockstar and their GTA Online shit.

There you DO have Cooperative Missions that NEEDS other players to Cooperate with you. No life paths or choices or ramifications involved. The world stays the same.

Even though I think Paradox can get carried away with the amount of paid DLC they put out *Cough CK2* *Cough*, I still really appreciate that they stick to their formula and what they know their fans want. They support their games for years after their release, and even after future releases. They are always bringing new interesting content to the table for DLC's and new mechanics to the free updates that come along with those DLC's.

Ofc not all of them are good due to the sheer volume they pump them expansions out with, but it's still appreciated that they don't just make a new Crusader kings or a new Europa every year or just completely change up the script and idk add total war type battles in the game or something lol.

I know that, it is the worst of the examples but in red dead online there are certain ramifications.
with each contractor, different resolutions
and with the main mini story 2 ways apart from being good or bad
Depending on which side is one certain missions are faced against npc and players
I'm just saying that they were able to take advantage of lifepaths to use this rpg- element.

Absolutely. It's why I used Stellaris as an example - admittedly 4x games do traditionally have long tails without extra content - but I've spent a fortune on snapping up everything they release and have rocked up well into 4 figures for hours in that game simply because of their content release.

There is zero reason why that kind of approach wouldn't work for Cyberpunk - Coupled with a half decent mod scene and hot dang. Skies the limit.

I think there a lot of scope for multiplayer but that could be a separate game in itself. A Trauma Team co-op would be fun, . Cyberpunk was all about the Night City when I played it (the rpg that is) You start a mission together and then it ends up with the half the city against you. Night City has a lot of potential and possibilities. They should all be explored (not exploited).

Don't get me excited please

On the real though, if CDPR gave this game full mod support AND really went in with the single-player DLC's/Expansions it would really be one of the greatest RPG's of all time. Maybe the ship has sailed already for it to be the mainstream giant that appealed to casual and hardcore gamers it seemed to be hoping to be, but it can definitely still be an all time fan-favourite in the RPG and even single player as a whole genre. All depends where they decide to go from here, Fallout New Vegas had a very rocky start too, and that game gets so much praise till this day it's insane.

If CDPR thinks that they can make GTA Online 2.0, they are in for disappointment. Many games have tried, but honestly it's all about luck and having big audience. Maybe if CP2077 wasn't such jank the mp could succeed

i know its weird to compare but look at Euro Truck Simulator 2 so many expansions and bigger worlds, i want at least for 2-3 years of expansions for this game, not only bigger map but more enterable buildings with crapton of side quests and activities

i mean why not ? CDPR can be first company who will support AAA single player game for years.
