Doom Eternal made multiplayer majority dont like it. Tomb Raider has multiplayer nobody even launched it.
I own CP2077 on PC, and online games are plagued by cheaters and modders. Maybe I will play it out of curiosity and fun, but I will not be invested in it at all if CDPR doesn't invest in protecting their game from modders. Maybe it's a separate game with a separate team that has measures against modding. Hopefully that is the case with their multiplayer component.
That's what it comes down to, for me. Otherwise, yeah I'd like to play CyberPunk multiplayer. Not in exchange for multiple dlc expansions hell no. Single player > Multiplayer

D L C forget multiplayer. Time spent on fixing this game should be priority #1
DLC for sure. I, honestly, have no interest in multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077.

I am really concerned about that question .. Honestly. How do you possibly think that a multiplayer game is possible after taking a close look at the state the game is currently in? Do you really think that a multiplayer option is realistic? Please tell me.
Single player expansions for now. Multiplayer would not work right now without balancing. Additionally, the game crashes often enough that adding an online-only multiplayer mode would really just bog my whole experience down.
Especially in Europe.dont forget the obligatory vacuum cleaner and screaming kids.Multiplayer off course!

If MP has to be done make it co-op PVE type with stories for your party like the PnP.
PVP just would make this game a modders' griefing palace. Where anyone who actually wants to play would be spending hours just respawning. Just to get two feet and spawning again... Yea no thanks. We have GTO and RDO for that thanks....
Plus at this point CDPR can't seem to get single player right... What makes us think they can do an Online version with all the balancing and keeping the griefers/modders at bay...

The MP part of CP2077 is already on the making and probably modeled on the GTA/RDR2 online model but I don't think they can do anything in the coming months but fix the game and make it what was originally intended at all levels (mechanics, interaction, immersion, storyline) and complement what was left hanging (ending).
I mean CDPR announced that this game was getting a multiplayer mode multiple times, even going as far to build a whole new game engine that could fully support it (Red Engine 4, what this game is running on now). So assuming they haven't abandoned the idea of multiplayer do to the reception the game got, I think we're gonna get it.
However my theory is that after the reception the game got at launch and the dent to CDPR's rep, it might've scared off a lot of the new audience that the game attracted that would've been really interested in multiplayer. I'm sure there's still a lot of them who would check it out when it drops, because nowadays a lot of people like to fake outrage and if they heard that it's good they would willing hop right back on CDPR's jock. But if not I wanted to hear what the fans think and if they would support it or not.
Multiplayer is like double-edged sword, can bring more harm if not handled properly. Now CDPR reputation is already not so favorable, it's advisable not to proceed with the plan. Things could get messy really fast with just one mishap in multiplayer. I would prefer coop mode instead.
No no no, please not multiplayer, other than co-op, like for any other MMORPG, else hard pass to multiplayer! Maybe buy in a license to some of the existing stories from the content creators of the table-top RPG CBP ? Add new area's through DLC, according the CBP lore. But mostly please, tweak NPC AI like attitude reaction towards player etc. Cheers, love the game!
