Spreading misinformation is no good.Yes, I would, but we aren't getting the level of detail seen in the 35 minute footage anymore.
That's very true, however the recent PC demos/trailers (official ones like RAGE & STEEL) don't look like 35 mins demo so I'll prepare myself for anything. I don't really care about the SoD level quality anymore because that was the time when devs were most probably experimenting with stuff so it looked extra ordinary however 35 mins demo looked like real deal and something that was running well so why not ? I hope you're correctWell...they haven't gave me any reason not to trust them. At this point.
If that words were coming from Bioware employee i would told him to go screw himself and steal money from someone else.
I still think everybody deserves benefit of the doubt.
I'm just repeating what CDPR have said. We are getting what consoles get, just a higher resolution and some nVidia effects. The 35 minute demonstration shows there is much more going on there than a higher resolution and hairworks.Spreading misinformation is no good.
Samk, you don't know this. You don't. There are already images contradicting you, but more to the point, unless you've seen the future, you don't know.I'm just repeating what CDPR have said. We are getting what consoles get, just a higher resolution and some nVidia effects. The 35 minute demonstration shows there is much more going on there than a higher resolution and hairworks.
Yeah it's looking that way. I wonder how much stuff they really cut out cause the consoles couldn't run it.I'm just repeating what CDPR have said. We are getting what consoles get, just a higher resolution and some nVidia effects. The 35 minute demonstration shows there is much more going on there than a higher resolution and hairworks.
What? I just repeated what CDPR said on this very forum a few hours ago. Perhaps I should have used quotation marks. I wasn't stating it as something I knew, just a quote. Here:Samk, you don't know this. You don't. There are already images contradicting you, but more to the point, unless you've seen the future, you don't know.
Cut it out.
That seems.. integrally contradictory....We are getting what consoles get...There will be visible differences between console and PC (we always said so), stuff like...
It probably seems that way because you cut out the important part of the sentence. That seems.. integrally contradictory.
"We are getting what consoles get, just a higher resolution and some nVidia effects."
Except that your presumption is that anyone in this thread doesn't care about those things. You'll excuse me if I find that hypocritical.
A 970 is more or less equal to a Titan. While it was a very high end card in it's day, it is now outperformed by much lower priced cards such as the GTX 970 and even the R9 290x, mostly due to Kepler's lower compute performance..
I was trying to politely point out that your comment didn't mesh. This is because the entire bit in quotes, well, actually wasn't a quote. It probably seems that way because you cut out the important part of the sentence.
I read very well thank you. What you don't get, is that there has clearly been more of a regression of quality rather than a progression in most circumstances. The E3 build was from last year, and yet it has features that are missing from more recent builds like what the YouTubers got to play such as screen space reflections..Some people dont read. Point 3 and 5 are confirmed PC settings.. We can spec others too.
What would you consider ground-breaking about TW2, in terms of graphics technology?I dont know what went wrong with CD Project Red but it wont be ground breaking as Witcher 2.
We won't know for sure about the lighting until we see the final build I suppose. It's kind of hard to tell whether it has changed, because things like time of day, color palette and even ambient occlusion can affect it..@prince_of_nothing
I'll be more than happy to get that graphic quality, it's not like I am not happy right now but it will be a huge surprise and a true "slap across the face" if we get that quality on PC. I guess it will also satisfy a whole lot of downgrade complaints, however I don't see these two things coming back so easily.
1) Lighting (It's completely changed if I am not wrong).
2) Blood in the water, it was really cool to be honest.
Yes in 2011 yes. What would you consider ground-breaking about TW2, in terms of graphics technology?
