It is cheap because the speed of how quick you finish content doesn't reflect how long/much that content actually is. I could easily do 30 hour content in a 100 hour time period. But it's no fun for me because I lose interest by artificially stretching it out.Mixing lower and upper case letters does not make an argument cheap. How or why anybody would finish this game in 30 hours is simply beyond me. So it's shorter than Witcher 3. W3's content was insane and nowhere near "standard" even for an open world RPG. CP obviously posed very different challenges for the devs and concessions were made but there's still a TON of content in this game.
And 50 hours is not enough for an RPG anymore? Wow. You know, at your pace I'm guessing you could finish pretty much any Bethesda open world RPG in much less than that. Me personally, I never really bothered much with the main quests in those games because, unlike CP2077, the stories and characters SUCKED.
Disco Elysium, easily the best RPG released last year, took me 40 hours and I thought it was perfect. But I guess I must be confused.![]()
And to your question. I accidentally finished the game in 30 hours because I hated the plot with Jhonny and wanted to get rid of him so I could continue enjoying the open world content without him butting in and being reminded every hour that my character is dying. Little did I know that if I actually follow the story and stay in immersion, I will get less than 30 hour game. Unfortunately the endings and the way the game handles post story gameplay just completely ruined that playthrough for me. So much that for a whole week I couldn't even find motivation to touch the game again.
And no, 50 hours is nowhere near enough for an open world RPG imo. AndI don't understand why should I settles for less for my money when 150+ hours of gameplay can be clearly achieved for a AAA game.
Listen, just because you have low expectations, don't go around telling us that we just "play the game wrong".
