Wyvern decoction not working?

Hello.

I am a rather new player, and so I've crafted the Wyvern Decoction potion and it seems like damage is never stacking up. Despite not taking any damage myself the melee attacks don't seem to be doing any more damage and the AP always stays at 1% in the inventory like this (not sure wether that is supposed to change or not)

Am I missing something or is this not working for me?

The results do not show on the actual description, if that's what you mean. It simply indicates that your attack power will increase by 1% every time you land a strike. So, after consecutive 10 hits, you should be seeing the damage numbers increase by about 10% (barring resistances that certain enemies may have to your weapon.) Obviously, the greater the damage done (at higher levels), the more quickly this will be noticeable. There is no upper limit, either. However, if you take even one hit, it resets to 0%.

(Alternatively, mods may be interfering with the functionality if you're using any.)
