[XBox] Cannot Enter Spectral Mists

I have been playing through act 2, and when it comes to the part where you have to cross from the kings encampment over to the nonhuman city on the other side of the Spectral Mist to get the spearhead, I keep getting stuck. Zoltan and I enter the mist no problem, then I get ported right back out, and although I can traverse the map to the city, it is empty, and no cutscenes activate, no quests. Another strange thing is once I get ported out of the mist, I can still hear Zoltan speaking, although it sounds like he is on the other side of a door.
