Guys i was worrying a lot too, but read my post here:

I HIGHLY doubt CDPR would keep saying this if it weren't true. This was today. He could have ignored me and just let it be, but he replied to me. It would look real bad on the developer if it turns out there's significant differences between the console versions all of a sudden. It would also be the first time that we get a third party game with more than just a resolution difference.

I've done it before, and if you read explicitly when you purchase it says you can't get a refund the day of release and there afterwards. This is only available for Pre Orders not games that have already been released...

I'm about to straight up and demand a refund from Microsoft about my pre order cause the fact they haven't shown any new gameplay at this point is detrimental...I have a PS4 so I might just switch to over there..I don't want to but I feel they are forcing my hand at this point.

I don't understand why you thought of buying the XBONE version to begin with if you also have a PS4...It's not as if this is a multiplayer game and having your Xbox live friends matter.
Just go for PS4, it has better resolution, to say the least.

I prefer the Xbox One's controller scheme, I have big hands and with the DS4 I still have issues with my thumbs smacking each other around at times and not having a fully comfortable grip that the One provides easily.

If i had had both consoles, i probably still would have bought it for Xbox One. I sure plan on still buying all multiplatform games on Xbox One next year, even when i then have a PS4 as well. Because i dig the X1 controller MUCH more, and its battery life far surpasses that of PS4's, it's not even funny. When i am gaming, 99% of the time i am in party chat, i don't want to have two consoles powered on all the time and Witcher 3 is going to take a loooooooong time. Unless the difference between 900p and 1080p is so big for me,i might then have gone for PS4. But i have yet to truly see the difference, never tested it. You say better resolution, to say the least, but i wonder why you say that. If we are to believe CDPR, it is the only difference.

I'm getting real tired of the silence about the Xbox One version. They even have this marketing deal with MS, and yet PS4 footage pops up before that. Do they even care about their customers on Xbox One? Or is it MS that holds them back showing any real Xbox One footage? Either way, as someone who has pre-ordered the CE on Xbox One I'm quite frustrated. CD Projekt RED is completely ignoring this version.

At this point the only explanation I can think of is that MS is holding the footage back, CDPR knows that by doing this it would piss off a lot of people, but they don't have a choice.

MS has had a rocky start, but i am sure they don't want to lose any Xbox gamers. This IS goddamn weird though, to say the least. How fucking hard can it be to release some footage?

Very strange. So far one developer from CDPR replied to my PM's here and he also doesn't understand what's taking so long. He assured me that it looks great on X1 though and that it's the same as PS4, except resolution. I do have something else though..it's not terribly much but here:

Well, on Dualshockers there was the article about the PS4 footage and the author had also written that article about how awesome the X1 version looked.

So this troll there started replying to me and said the X1 version has worse textures, worse lighting and worse resolution. The author Giuseppe replied with this:

''You shouldn't state as fact what you don't know. The lighting for one, looks absolutely identical to what I saw. Textures is too minute a detail to notice from here.''

He then directly replied to me:

''It's VERY hard to say mate. I can't see glaring differences to be honest. But we're talking about a video on YouTube now and a game played a month ago _;;

My memory isn't THAT photographic.''

I then asked what about pop in and texture streaming/appearing all of a sudden, he said this:

''Can't remember seeing anything too glaring on that. The only real issue I saw was aliasing, but that's a constant on open world games on consoles.''

He also said we have nothing to worry about.

It's something.

He actually said he also doesn't understand why it's taking so long. He told me to contact Marcin Momot, since he's about marketing, but Momot doesn't reply to those questions at all. He said as far as he knew it would be this or next week, for Xbox One footage.

hate tot ell ya this bro but there are NO refunds for digital copy downloads. . So once your burned your burned. no getting ur money back...its just like copping from the hood. same concept lmao.

People should not go as far as to cancel their preorders right away, although i can't even blame them i guess. It seems CDPR is holding on to this ''They look the same anyway'' thing a bit too much and therefore not in any rush to show the X1 version. Stupid bs.
