(xbox1)game won't launch

When the game first tries to launch it displays the first image and cuts back to the Xbox home screen. After four reinstalling four times and numerous hard resets it's not making any progress. I've not yet made it to the opening cinematic or beyond the single image.

Also when it fails to launch the Xbox is displaying the blueray screen in the main box off the home screen. Also out hasn't been connected to the internet in the past several months if that had any effect on it. Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same issue, the system begins to slow down and becomes unresponsive.

Same here: reading your post though - I too haven't done a system update in a while (takes ages with my Internet connection, tried to do one today and gave up after 4 hours of non movement). Literally minutes away from selling my xbox
