The story's core was nailed early on, and had the goal of bringing Yennefer and Ciri in where they had been excluded before. And it was to be more personal and less political, the lead writer Marcin Blacha tells me. "We wanted to make a game about a disabled family," he says in his low, ponderous voice. I never thought that CDPR and Blacha of all people would be able to butcher Sapkowski's world and characters that much. Bad fan-fiction at (its) best. Shame.

In some of those NSFW unicorn shots it's cool to see how happy she looks. You rarely see her smile in that manner during other parts of the game.
