You should ask this directly to the Dev here.We don't know so far. We were said that Geralt will regain his memory but we don't know how and what it is going to happen. What is for sure is that Triss, Dandelion, Zoltan and Foltest are featured in the new game.

I have read somewhere that Filippa Eilhart will possibly make appearance in TW2. (I think it was based on some concept art, unfortunately I cant find it now :( )

You're right. We don't yet if she will be featured or not, but there are concept arts about her room. You can them here http://hexer.wikia.com/wiki/Kategorie:The_Witcher_2_Artworks

I would suprisingly welcome her appearance in TW2, but very brief, if any. I think Geralt has already many other characters to interact with, not to mention that Yennefer will bring not only new problems to Geralt but she will also influenced Triss, and I´m sure it wouldn´t be to any good. But other sorceresses like Fillipa I think should be in the game, that could be most interesting any finally, if the developers make them as manipulative and arrogant as they are in the books, some of us could appreciate goodness and character of Triss.

Yennefer in game with Triss having a secret affair with eskel, while the witcher tries to choose between who is the lesser "Bitch", cause one mad sorcerer is no better than two . . . and here goes another side quest that will end up with the witcher bed banging the chicken

Well, the ending of the saga was pretty unclear. But this is the most common interpretation.

You may want to add a spoiler for those that haven`t read the books .
But that she and Geralt were transported by Ciri to another realm
There are a number of threads in the forum containing ideas on this subject and how they would work . For example Yenn could appear in a flashback scene in where Geralt is starting to remember more about his past life.

Thank God anyone else understood it like me!! I´ve met many people who were absolutely certain that they both died, and I was always wondering whether I read a different book or not :D I never confront them though... :D

Probably a good idea ! As that generally leads to a big confrontation between the parties involved :p

That´s highly probable but I really can´t understand how can they think that and not even consider the other explanation as possible. :D So I´m always quiet and think about it for myself.

Anyone getting the feeling that Geralt's not going to be too pleased when he figures out that Triss took advantage of his amnesia to trick him in to liking her more than Yennefer?

@BranmanThis is precisely the reason why I hate that forced Triss/Geralt romance. It's based on a lie and deception. If I got amnesia and some guy I've rejected used this to get into my pants, I'd feel like I was raped. Geralt might be easygoing when it comes to sex but he takes love seriously so I will never, ever believe that he would just screw Yennefer's sacrifice, forget Ciri, brush off Triss' deception and live happily ever after with her.I feel like the whole romance is forced by someone among the team working on the game, simply because they liked Triss more than Yennefer. There are many people who felt for Triss and hated Yennefer, but to ignore Geralts rejection of Triss and his love for Yennefer, would be the same as screwing canon and completely rewriting Geralt's and Triss' characterizations. Furthermore, it makes Triss look like a lying b*tch and I can't root for someone like that.

book spoilers below
Actually Geralt and Triss had a relationship before and at least Triss has feelings for Geralt(Geralt viewed Triss at the least as a good friend as well, before her involvement in Thanned that is. (We never found out if he forgave her for that or not). There's no rule that one can't have feelings for more than one person. As for Yennefer while she comes of as cold and uncaring initially, she changes quite a lot during the last 2 books. In any case if she is in the game any other love interest should take a backseat as they are not simply in love, but their souls are magically bound together.

@RavenGrYou should reread the first book. It's stated right in the beginning -
when Triss recalls her brief romance with Geralt, it's stated that she used magic to seduce him.
It was NOT a natural, consensual attraction, and from then on Geralt repeatedly rejected her. Taking this into account, game-Triss has seduced Geralt twice in her life and both times she had to resort to tricks and deception, and I'm not even mentioning the betrayal of her best friend. Those are the most pathetic, disgraceful depths a woman could be reduced to. Geralt deserves a strong, independent, and most of all TRUSTWORTHY love interest, in my opinion.

I had forgotten about that line. It bugged me quite a bit when i first read that part. Iirc the incident was part of one of the short stories, but i can't recall which one.
