Yeah yeah i know, maybe it is a fact .... Remember the time only me fight again 4 team Yen's fan in our country forum . But in CDPR our topic kick assDon't want to upset our dear guest but Team Yen almost everywhere has more guns :smoke:
How about some Est Est .....Free Vodka for everyone on #TeamYen
1) Teleport would reveal her presence to other sorcerers and therefore threaten both (Yen is seen as traitor by everyone at that time!).I have got another question about the book
Why didn't Yen just find Geralt first, teleport to meet him then go find Ciri together. From the books it is clear that Yen can find geralt since she has deep connection with him. Well the book would have much shorter maybe but that would have been more into her character right??
I think she also blamed herself for what happend with Ciri and was too ashamed to meet with him.She said this in Baptism of Fire:1) Teleport would reveal her presence to other sorcerers and therefore threaten both (Yen is seen as traitor by everyone at that time!).
2) Yen doesn't agree with Geralt's "approach" of searching Ciri. She probably knew that he would question her tools and vice versa and nobody would benefit.
3) Yen doesn't think that finding Geralt first would bring her any closer to Ciri but only cost precious time (-> Ciri > Geralt for Yennefer).
4) She finally decides to risk her own life and do something "stupid" in order to find her. That's just my interpretation but by allowing others to torture her she enables Ciri to find her instead because they have some kind of "empathic connection", somehow forged by destiny. That's probably the reason why Ciri finally managed to get back to the Witcher world at the "right" time and the "right" location. That's of course risky because she leads Ciri to the lion's lair but I guess she just decided to trust Ciri - and Geralt who himself has an "empathic connection" to Ciri that finally led him to leave Touissant once Ciri's and Yen's life was in ultimate danger.
Yepp.I think she also blamed herself for what happend with Ciri and was too ashamed to meet with him.She said this in Baptism of Fire:
"What damn snare entangles the girl?Damn, how can i look in the witchere's eyes..."
1. Is it mentioned somewhere that they can detect teleport? I doubt it because when yen escaped from Philippa's castle noone knew she is in skellige1) Teleport would reveal her presence to other sorcerers and therefore threaten both (Yen is seen as traitor by everyone at that time!).

Yeah but Geralt is known as a sensible person although moody.. It was clear in the book that Geralt was clueless trying to find Ciri. It is only by pure luck that he managed to get the information about castle Stygga.I think she also blamed herself for what happend with Ciri and was too ashamed to meet with him.She said this in Baptism of Fire:

Cults and Sects, what is the Forum, really?Dammit!
There's a threard that really scares me, it's like a sect, one's talk to you as a Priest of Eteranl Fire..., as if that room of Forum were on his own property, and as if having a lot of amount of posts give him the reason![]()

As far as I remember Yen was told that Geralt was still healing from his injuries at Brokilon Forest. She can not teleport to Dryad teretory uninvited. Beside she felt guilty for whatever happened to Ciri. She felt that she had to make things right by her own.I have got another question about the book

Two impossible things of my life: continue the romance with Triss in TWII and choose her in TWIII.Just finish Wild Hunt for the 5th time, always with Yen in the end.
Yennefer is just to amazing to be betrayed.
