Oh I agree. That's why I would fix Eredin and the Wild Hunt before doing anything about Triss and Yen. The Yen/Ciri relationship and Triss romance may be underdeveloped but Eredin's characterization is effectively non-existent.

“Forgive me,” said Triss Merigold dully. “Forgive me, Yennefer.”
“Oh, no, Triss. Never.”

Eredin... he had so much potential in the books and games... potential become into nothing and it's a shame The main villain and we only hear 2 lines from him in the whole videogame.

So when Yennefer say that she didn`t forget that Emhyr killed her friends, which friends did she meant, did she mentions something later in the game about that.

A lot of sorcerers died during the previous wars with Nilfgaard, e.g. Lytta Neyd was a friend of her (and Geralt *cough*)

Replacing other characters with Triss just for the sake of having her more often appearing would be insulting to the other characters, it would question their existence in the game in the first place, if you can replace them that easily.

You also can't replace Triss in Novigrad with Yennefer, it wouldn't make sense in terms of their characters.

I agree some things need to be fixed if you choose Triss, like Yennefer's kiss to Geralt in Kaer Morhen or adding/removing some dialogues here and there. But that's all.

Reading the dev statements something akin to what you describe seems exactly the sort of small changes I expect
