I don't think any Yennefer and Ciri content is going to happen in the near feature. Just like @hungma147 said, it's CDPR's own fanfiction and it seems like this, sadly, has no place in it so we will just have to deal with it eventually instead of just consistently ranting about it. From what I've seen I think CDPR is very familiar with our complaints regarding the lack of Yennefer and Ciri content yet they don't seem to be bothered with it to a point where they would
try to make something happen at all. I mean this thread is going to have 6000 posts and 220k views soon and is full of rant regarding Yennefer's and Ciri's mother and daughter relationship in The Witcher 3 and all we got from CDPR so far was a couple of rather distanced statements. I wasn't following twitter or reddit that much lately so I'm not sure if they
said anything more regarding this issue, but I lost all hope I had after I took a look at all four red posts in this thread.

It has nothing to do with freedom of chose but a failure in Yen's character introduction by CDPR. IUt's supposed that She's the Ciri's mother in the main plot of the game... and CDPR have portrayed her like a psycopath? really? where's the freedom of choice when in the starting line Yen is already doomed?

Its strange for me because Reds actually made that scene work in a trailer "Go Your Way". Maybe it triggers when you choose different dialogue when you speak to Yen at the beggining. I have no idea. The scene with Vesemir smileing is ok, but with Yen it makes just other level of meaning of who Yennefer actualy is for both Geralt and Ciri. It would also make better sence for new players, who dont know anything about Yen.

I also have plans for other things, it will probably take quite some work and time, but it looks like, if we don't do it on our own, nobody else will either.

About Yennefer being on the balcony, it also makes more sense practically when you think about it. Because Vesemir is suddenly down in the yard waiting for you where he was watching you from the balcony just a second ago. Perhaps he should have gone down, then Yennefer comes from the bedroom to see Geralt and Ciri training, it'd fit a bit better and achieve the narrative effect you guys described.

It has been a while since I posted in this thread.

But does anyone realise that there is another playful banter between Geralt and Yen at Freya's Garden, if you finish Morkhvag quest before you go to the garden with Yen? Edit: This is as you are arriving at the tree where Skjall offered his blood.

I got it last night, and replayed the save a few times to get the same dialogue.

Another thing, if you refrain from always questioning Yen's method, she will be more nice to you.

Nah, Ginger is almost every day checking the threads refering the 3 main women in the game, but he's nothing to do with writers or story devs. I mean, he can't talk for them :)

Geralt and Yennefer content is solid, nobody is complaining. Ciri is the main issue...
