@kojac1984 Yennefer calls her regardless so I guess it's kinda okay. The most important thing is that you don't miss
an achievement if you don't tell Triss you love her and send her to Kaer Morhen yourself. I didn't see that coming tbh.
I was scared shitless that I'd have to do another playthrough and romance Triss for that achievement, can you imagine the pain? But Yen had my back so all good, phew...

So yeah big ups to CDPR for not forcing me to romance Trissefer just like in the previous two games.

I shall be forever grateful.

Don't worry, I'm on team Triss since the books. ;)

In any case, this was brought to my attention earlier. I didn't answer here before simply because I can't promise you anything - but I already elaborated on that in the politics thread. Be sure that I'm aware of the issue though and that I will bring it up in the office.

So we sat down, took our notes from your suggestions and checked what is viable to do. The result of that is what you will eventually see.

We pay very close attention to everything you guys write in this thread. We will be addressing this situation by adding/changing some dialogue stuff in the future - more info on this will come later so pardon my scarce input for the time being. This should help with the immersion. And once again, thank you all for your valuable feedback.

I understand there was a big topic with a lot of people but...I don't know...I hoped we would get some short answer to Kallelinski post - at least some understanding or a positive note...

What about our feedback? Is that valuable for anyone?

I see that I will be out of the expansions.

Many people do not understand so profound is the Yennefer character, complicated and perfect, white and black, affection and contempt.

Prefer something more deceived a woman dependent submissive type Anastacia of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Triss is great, but Yennefer is awome :)

It seems our opinions here do not have the same value or effect than the ones from other threads... sadly. :(

I don't think so. The inconsistencies with Triss romance were bigger and noticed by many many people, not only here but also in forums and websites outside of here, and eventually, from the dev's themselves.
That doesn't means Yen romance is ''perfect'', i know there is the lack of mother-daughter relationship and a not so good introduction for her.
But in comparison Triss romance felt rushed and taked on and disjointed from the main story. And almost all people who played previous games noticed that,(even people who choosed Yen).

Maybe in the future they will address other problems, who knows?

Yeah but the devs said they are Triss fans and I think it is huge factor here...if the same thing with inconsistencies would happen to Yennefer - I'm wondering if it would be the same. In my opinion probably not...

Well, that is what you think (and the other many people that you mention) and I respect that, but I don't agree (and many people here are with me), giving more importance to fix a romance than fixing a poor relation mother-dougther or a poor villain like Eredin.

What I try to say is that there are many things to fix in this game related to the storyline and we all should have the same treatment... at least a message from the devs.

The devs already heard you, in the game.

I'm going to self appoint me as representative of Team Triss and will make the following offer to you guys:
You give us the screentime, the song, the ending sections, the intro, the KM sections, the kiss, the forced flirting, a consistent story and we give you the dev responses.

Deal? :)

Jokes aside, I do recognize that the story with Yennefer could use some improvements, I even wrote some suggestions myself. However, Triss romance is fundamentally broken. It is no fun to have this greatly anticipated game, play it and even though you enjoy it a lot, become really annoyed about an aspect I consider key to the story.

I would have preferred my first 50 or so posts in this forum to be about how I absolutely loved every single aspect of this game. Instead, they were rants that reflected my frustration at the time.

@bichitogamer They were very busy with 1.07 and all. Soon we're getting the last free DLC. I think we might have a solid chance afterwards, hopefully they will at least react. I mean the thread will hit 300k views soon. Last RED post we got in this thread was exactly two weeks ago which is a very short time to come up with a statement or any decision at all. I just really hope they're reading all the good suggestions on the first page or in the .pdf file. Please let's just try to be patient...

All we can do is wait and hope, they can't postpone or ignore this "issue" forever. If they're going to tweak something
as unimportant as romance (just lol) then they will surely get to Ciri and her interactions with Yennefer at some point.

:unhappy: Let us hope.
:what: What?
:unhappy: Nevermind.

"It can't be all sweetness and light." Be happy for what we have now.

Well, they gave you the whole The Witcher 2 for you guys, you can't complain ;)

A romance a key of this story? Wtf?

It's not necessarily a case of one group being favoured over another, the Triss romance does have some clear inconsistencies after all. I myself haven't tried romancing Triss in a play-through because it just tapers off after Novigrad in Act 3 (also because I can't say no to Yennefer, I'm too much of a wuss to break her heart like that!). I'd love more Yennefer interactions as much as you guys would; especially showing that family element with Geralt and Ciri, but I don't think their more active response in the Triss thread means that they're ignoring what's said here. I'm confident (or at least hopeful) that CDPR will take all of these views on board, this thread is pretty hefty after all!

Yes, thank you, I think that CDPR refusal to acknowledge those so-called issues in Yennefer's romance is because they simply never saw them as such, I never saw them as issues either, she already have too much screen time in the game and giving her more won't be fair to the other romance option, I think focusing on improving the game performance, fixing bugs and more romance time for Triss seems to be the only one worth addressing at the moment considering all the pressure they're under with the the troubles the new patch caused to a lot of people.

The main problem with Yennefer is not about the romance (which is more or less OK).... It's the daugther-mother relation bewteen her and Ciri. It's nonexistent... :angry2:
