Regarding Triss content,i think they should fix the forced kiss scene with Yen,give an explanation as to why Triss is not at Kaer Morhen if Geralt invites her,and have her say something other than 'well' on the boat.

As for Yen she needs more interactions with Ciri,Geralt,Triss and other members of the Lodge.

I'd prefer that get it's own focus like in Touissaint.

I think adding more Triss content would have amounted to maybe 2 or 3 scenes at best, allowing you some emotional follow-up to the events of the Lighthouse. The bit at the fountain didn't cut it for me.

Especially with no mention of Ciri's role in their lives.

I.e. no need for MASSIVE NEW CONTENT.

I also would have appreciated for additional Yennefer content:

* The ability to tell people that Yennefer and I had broken up (like Cerys and Philippa).

* The chance to talk with Yennefer as a friend following the break-up. She just brushes you off.

* A Ciri/Yennefer/Geralt scene even if they're "magically divorced."

* Finding out what Yennefer's plans are if she and Geralt are quits.

Something like:

"Oh don't worry about me, Geralt, I'll be fine. I might look up Istredd again or see if there's any other heroic fools out there looking for the great love of their lives. I suspect I'll travel for awhile, get far away from all this death and destruction. I'll always be there for you and Ciri, though. Just a megascope call away."

* I'd also like ending slides for her, Triss, Dandelion, and Zoltan.

"Yennefer of Vengerburg was heartbroken by the realization her Witcher had moved on but this was not the first time she had felt such heartbreak nor, sadly, would it be the last. Strong-willed and defiant to the end, she proceeded to wander the world as a hero in her own right. Whether in Nilfgaard, Zerkania, or lands beyond, many came to know the dark-haired violet-eyed sorceress as a force for good."

Any addition (esp. romance) would always be welcomed with an open hand, given how badly Witcher 3 we need it :)
As long as it buffs up the epilogue or post epilogue, I'm cool with it!

EDITED:
Witcher 3 Act 3 onwards is still a disappointment...

Yen has a looot more screentime than Triss. Also much more dialogue options.
Not that I'm complaining either.

But Triss also had TW1 and TW2 all to herself ;) I'd say it's fair, that Yen gets more attention in TW3.

Istredd is most likely already dead.. he wanted to duel Geralt so he would be killed by him, Geralt left him with a note to do it himself if he want to die.. after all he knew exactly he got the same message...

in my second playthrough, i romanced Triss, but then couldnt go with it once i got to Skellige and started again. With all things that happened over the years, Yen is really Geralt's one and only.. sorry Triss fans, i'm also her huge fan, and l like Triss a lot, but sadly there is no chance Geralt would chose her over Yen.

or, that last wish gets removed... yet still, Geralt was attracted to Yen before they got together, and removing that wish would not wipe their memories of each other... so still, chances for Triss are very slim.. but as im thinking about it, there is the whole another thing with the Rose of Remembrance.. :)

One of the funniest scenes from the books :D
By VonStreff

'Can you hold on Yen?'
'Somewhat, yes'.
'Pull yourself up, you must get a handhold'
'No... I can't'.
'Yen...'
'Shut up and stop fidgeting'.
'Yen?'
'Don't call me that!'
'Can you hold on?'
'No', she replied coldly.
She no longer struggled, she just hung on his back, dead inert weight.
'Yen?'
'Shut up!'
'Yen, forgive me'.
'No. Never'.

Yeah, it's those years with Yen versus however many years he's been with Triss by that point.

yeah, that entire story is quite funny. i liked the story told by Dandelion about the poisoning the Dragon, and of course, all those little things Yarpen and his dwarfs told.. especially the hidden hatred towards Yen.. laughed a lot during blood of elves, when Yarpen described his another encounter with Yen, when she almost cursed him so grass would grow out of his ass :)) - dwarfs talk is my guilty pleasure of the Witcher books :D

Btw. guys I've just went to Vivaldi's Bank in Novigrad and asked Vivaldi for a loan. You will get it without any questions - Vivaldi tells you that Yennefer has extended you unlimited credit and that you get the money from her account. :D (good reference from the books) haha didn't noticed that in my 1st playthrough at all...

I prefer Triss, yet I don't dislike Yen's character per se. As a mostly game player (read only some of the books) If anything I was very intrigued by her character. I decided to pick Triss first and then Yen'S charm captured me, even if some parts didn't resonate with me that much, but still, in that last wish quest, with them in the boat and the music, I gotta confess, I almost got caught in the tango stuff. I decided to leave her for a second walkthrough. That never happened because of the whole Triss content stuff which left me angry and I somehow took it on her character entirely for metagaming reasons. Anyway, point is, not all Triss fans are equal lol. And there are also some suggestions/ideas/missed opportunities about Yen content too. Here is one of mine:

The highly anticipated reunion should have been much much longer. Sitting in the park, playing Gwent (instead of the nobleman, it should have been Yennefer the one with the OP deck), throw some teasing in the likely scenario that she wins. Hell they could have made a strip Gwent between the two.

There should have been some talks about what both had been up to, making Yen the IMPORT-your-game character, instead of the general. Perfect opportunity to get Yen thoughts and opinions on the choices we’d made in the other two games. And perfectly logical too I mean, if we’ve been searching for her six months in a row and never seen each other in years logic would dictate that one of the things we’d be doing is CATCHING UP. This is imo the first GREAT MISSED OPPORTUNITY, having her as the import character would have killed two birds with one stone. She gets a proper introduction, we get to know how she thinks on different issues and talk about her past.

Then discuss the matter of Ciri, what it means to them, throw some flashback to their iconic scenes. Make the player care. And also, make us understand the history between the two. All the good and all the bad. Throw some semi steamy scene if your choices were to her liking and then off we go to Velen.

Regarding the topics we get to discuss with Yen, the different options could lead to her take on worldly issues, or conversation about her/our past.

roche vs iorveth could touch the subject of discrimination, our role in the first game maybe.
Arian La vallete on political intrigue / our time bodyguarding for Foltest
saving Letho could lead to a discussion on her first days upon being freed.
Sile could lead to her opinions on the lodge
Triss rescue would open pandora's box. (and once things are calmed down discuss the issue of friends vs great causes)

I think it's interesting a staggering amount of the game's complaints all amount to, "We wanted more time on serious character development and getting to know the characters."

Video games have come a long way.

It's just a matter of whether the dev's read about fans complaint and actually cared about it or just turn both eyes blind :|
