Thank you for an advice. So did you choose Triss and forget about Yen already? It seems not...For those who do care and feel betrayed etc, they can choose Yen and forget about Triss... everybody wins...

Did you even read other posts in this thread or you're just repeating same things again and again through various threads? But it seems to me that you guys just want everybody to go for Yen and for the people who choose differently to realize the "wrongness" of their ways, by having an arc with Triss that is all about guilt, deceit, betrayals and sad faces...
What if I want to choose Triss storyline, but don't want experience this BS in it?For the people who chose her, then it is clear those issues are not really issues or at least understand them, so they don't care about them and don't want them featured prominently in an already very short arc...
For those who do care and feel betrayed etc, they can choose Yen and forget about Triss... everybody wins...
But that was already the case with Ciri (and the White Frost) in TW3. it's nothing new, just the weird deepening of the already existing narrative flaws...That everything he fought for in the books was actually a lie?
Distorted according to you... different people have different interpretations...What if I want to choose Triss storyline, but don't want experience this BS in it?
What if new player would form a distorted opinion (even more distorted which he/she could form as of now) after experiencing these dialogues?
Where did it occur to you that Geralt 'suffers' in relationship with Yennefer and he deserved "a normal life"? What does "normal life" for Geralt? Sitting in Kovir and eating cakes baked by Triss? I do not think so. Their relationship might actually look like, as you said, but only in the first two books. In the saga that was "Something More". The fact that their relationship is complicated, doesn't mean that one of them is struggling with each other. I would say that on the contrary. Based on the 8 books and games, I can bet that for, Geralt normal life means living with Yennefer. And if not with Yennefer, then not with any other woman.Have been monitoring forum since 2014 but hard to avoid it and just read anymore.
I really love Yen. She's a great character but have to say that in the games Triss is a more obvious and smart choice for Geralt. Don't want to fall into details, I see that was already written months ago.
Just please let Geralt live with a normal life, after all he deserved it.
In my witcher universe I see Yennefer happy with Istredd (hope CDPR will make him alive or just will notice him in upcoming dlcs). So let them be happy.
Cheers.
Yes. But White Frost doesn't have tits, that's why nobody's complaining...But that was already the case with Ciri (and the White Frost) in TW3. it's nothing new, just the weird deepening of the already existing narrative flaws...
There's a fine line between 'interpretation' and 'comprehension of the text'. Ignoring explicitly stated opinions of Geralt and turning them into a pile of lies is beyond that line by any means.Distorted according to you... different people have different interpretations...
Good point.Distorted according to you... different people have different interpretations...
And I would LOVE it if her arc was extensive enough to make room for that and many other topics and we could discuss it with her and agree or not... but sadly it is not... time is short and so they have to make the most of it and that includes focusing mainly on romantic parts...
And since this is Yen thread, I'll reiterate what I said some time back, I love her character and I love their relationship too, I just wish we could have more options in how to interact with her...
Mmmm, just realized we are in the same position...
I didn't exactly mean, avoid contact as much as possible... just not be that submissive all the time... more like an equal partner relationship between the two...Good point.
Love her character too but honestly prefer to avoid too close contacts with her.
So I hope that CDPR will give us an opportunity in Triss romance line to ignore Yennefer as much as possible.
I wanted to see Triss on Skellige for example. Why not? Yennefer can be with Emhyr atm.
Triss can send to Kovir the mages with another leader (they are not children to be so helpless without one person) and go with us on Skellige.
Hmm reading such comments - maybe it would be better to delete Yennefer from TW3 :hope: and leave only Triss there. So I hope that CDPR will give us an opportunity in Triss romance line to ignore Yennefer as much as possible.
Why delete? Just make for her more interactions with another characters. There is no only one Geralt.Hmm reading such comments - maybe it would be better to delete Yennefer from TW3 and leave only Triss there.
Geralt is confirmed masochist though.I didn't exactly mean, avoid contact as much as possible... just not be that submissive all the time... more like an equal partner relationship between the two...
Exactly what CDPR did for TW1 and TW2. Until the fans complained maybe?Hmm reading such comments - maybe it would be better to delete Yennefer from TW3 :hope: and leave only Triss there.

Sure, why not? We didn't have her in tw1 and tw2. What about making Triss Ciri's mom?Why delete? Just make for her more interactions with another characters. There is no only one Geralt.
Got the impression that someone made this profile just to trolll...Sure, why not? We didn't have her in tw1 and tw2. What about making Triss Ciri's mom?
Why not? Blinky doesn't give a shit about Yenn anymore...What about making Triss Ciri's mom?
Never! Yen is a vile bitch and I love the idea of ignoring her in game!Got the impression that someone made this profile just to trolll...
I posted the fanfiction to underline my argument that one single fan put more effort into it than the creators of this issue. And a fanfiction regarding Triss, as per the mod sticky, belongs in the Triss fanart thread:
